Steph has fallen off tremendously this season

KD in GS isn’t gonna do anything…that roster isn’t any better than the Suns

Rockets need to pounce, because GS doesn’t have sh*t to offer

I wonder who are they going to sucker into taking Bradley Beal in with their late round FRPs.

This year we are playing with house money anyway. We acquire Booker, see how Jalen performs the rest of the year and especially in the playoffs. If we play well, great we can let it ride for another year. If we don't play great then we now have a tradeable asset in Green that can net us a PG.

Good luck getting Beal to waive that NTC. ;)

    Sixers? Bucks?

Not dumping him off in Chicago or Detroit (or wherever).

Whatever they did in Phoenix has been a massive failure, that's for sure. They had a team that went to the finals, then they got impatient. Not sure why in the hell they thought they had to trade for Bradley Beal.

Is Rockets only in the Book business. Or does Stone make a phone call on Durantula.

If only Phoenix was more patient and traded for DeAaron Fox and pair hom with Devin Booker. It would've been interesting.

Luka Doncic and Devin Booker backcourt if they Drafted Luka Doncic. Phoenix Suns have made so many mistakes. Same mistake Kings didn't draft Luka Doncic. Atlanta not keeping Luka Doncic and trading Luka Away.

GS has to get Klay back too to complete the reunion. That shouldn't be hard. Dallas is in a trade happy mode.

I have no real interest in Kevin Durant.

Honestly - not even that interested in a 28 year old Devin Booker because his defense has really slid - but at least he can play lead guard if needed.

I would rather keep the draft picks of the Suns of trade for a younger player.

Tyrese Maxey, Cade Cunningham, Anthony Edwards, Trey Murphy, Brandon Miller... Dyson Daniels...... someone 25 or under.

Fred VanVleet Phoenix picks for Kevin Durant.

The Salaries are close to trade.

Dillon Brooks salary is less than half $22 million of $51 million of Kevin Durant.

Tyrese Maxey is really a special PG I wish the Rockets go after him instead of Devin Booker.

Edwards would be the dream but I don't see him or Cunningham for that matter being made available soon.

@RHU525 is right .... Jalen & Booker, who plays the point?

Please don't say Amen .... the only other point on the roster is Holiday (Shepard aint ready).

Unless you get Tyus back in the deal too.

I really don't get the fascination with Booker ..... he plays the same position as Green and isn't really an upgrade - Green is actually shooting a better percentage from 3 - while Booker cost ~37% more going forward. Jalen might even be a better defender ....

I don’t think a PG is needed in a lineup that includes Green, Booker, Amen, and Sengun.

Booker can play point. He's obviously not a pure PG. But he is an upgrade over FVV and still has several years of his prime left.

Book can shoot (fairly consistently). Even his down year, is better than anything we have. But I do agree, that Book and Jalen overlaps.

From a fit persepctive, we saw some on how it played out on the Suns. They try to make Book a playmaker for not just himself, but rest of his team; he can do some, but kinda meh. Beal was another SG and too much overlap. What's that famous quote from Denver's GM? (overlap can be the killer of a building a team).

From the money perspective it should be Fred. From a role perspective, it'd be Jalen.

And don't come at me Jalen fans, I'm only talking about the theortical fit (not advocating a trade). But if the trade scenario plays out, Fred pairs with Book and the rest of team better.

If Book is on the market, usually a GM will warp the roster to fit around that guy. This incldues our wings and bigs too.

Book is a scoring gaurd (and good at it), if you get him, he should be doing that first and foremost. Playmaking would have to go elsewhere like Sengun, Amen, or another PG.

Those salaries don’t match up at all, and that’s before you consider the poison pill provision from Jalen signing his extension. I’m asking what actual trade could get Jalen to the Suns and Booker here before the deadline.
