Won't work financially until after the season. Jalen and all their picks would certainly be too much for 1 1/2 years of KD. I don't think the Rockets are interested in trading Jalen to be honest, but I'd probably do Jalen and picks for Booker if it were possible at this deadline. I went onto Fanspo and couldn't figure out a way to make this happen before the deadline. You'd probably have to have 3 or 4 teams involved to get close. I was able to do FVV and Cam plus picks (it would probably take all the Phoenix pics plus the Nets swap) to get the Suns to take a look. In order for the Suns to trade Booker they would have to be all the way in on a re-build which I doubt is in the cards. If they are really shopping Durant, we could make that happen better than any other team from the Suns perspective, but probably not Durant's perspective.
literally the reason they lost. I always liked his scoring abilities, he’s young but he has too many games like this , no composure as a youngster compared to all the other young guys. I still say Cam is a better tunnel vision scorer than him. I’ll take strength and consistent shooting over inconsistency. and he just sucks in the half court. soft, seflish, pathetic turnovers.
lol my buddy in Portland tells me the same thing about Jalen Clarkson that’s funny, and it’s a really bad comparison but i’ve been seeing it and it does make me sick.. wish they just traded him for Fox, no thx for stone’s poison pill contract
Jalen has the worst clutch time live ball turnovers I've seen since Harden. It usually involves him falling and instant fast break points for the other team. He just doesn't have it mentally...
I like Jalen Green. Overall, he has played very well for us this year, but his unforced turnovers when he loses the ball without almost any other intervention is just maddening. Like wtf.
I think the Thunder cup game and the last few games have probably altered the Rockets view of Jalen. The playoffs are going to be massive for him. If he stinks it up, he'll be gone. The Suns won't move Booker before Thursday but his days in Phoenix are absolutely numbered. That's the target and everyone not named Jabari, Amen, and Alperen is on the table. I'd be surprised if Reed was but I don't know what Ime has seen from him in practice. I've also gotten to a point where the difference between Tate and Tari isn't as big as people think it is.
Not having his defense is making a big impact. Add in Jabari's absense and you can see why we are struggling on that side of the ball. Freaking Claxton ate us alive and then Brunson and Kat. Jalen (who is hobbled) has to show up over the rest of the games leading to the all-star break or we are going to slide down at least to fourth. We need a trade for Williams III or another big right away. Adams is just too slow footed. We can get by without Sengun's offense for a while, but not his defense.
The whole Roster is Flawed, every player has a weakness, shooting 3s is the main issue and getting foul calls. No whistle against All Star Veterans, Bigger Market LA, NY, Boston even Sacramento is a problem.
Dillon Brooks, JaeSean Tate were terrible. Why in the World did JaeSean Tate start over Steven Adams.
Because Adams can't guard Kat at the 3 pt line. They tried Amen on him to start the game and Kat brutalized him. We really miss Sengun and Jabari on defense. Dillon didn't show up either. The only reason we were in that game was Amen and Cam and a few hustle plays and drives by Jalen and Tari. Everybody's defense sucked including Amen's. The loss was totally at Ime's feet. He can blame the players all he wants, but his switch from Amen running the offense to Jalen and freezing out Cam once again, was some of the worst bench coaching I have ever seen.
i really, REALLY try to like him, but his play always makes me go back to hating on him. he's just not good, i mean, he could be a starter, like a 3rd-4th option, but i think we would be better off trading him for an all-star or even getting such player on a different position and getting a more well rounded SG, a 3 and D guy.
I don't dislike Sengun, I just think he's more Sabonis, while others think he's Jokic. And like Sabonis, he will get a few All - Star nodes but he's good but not great. Also, I think people are putting to much emphasis on the reason we are losing, is solely because Alpi is not playing. He is a a part of the reason but I think last nights game had more to do with Jabari, not Sengun.
