Sure, more people live in the cities now as well. Most cities vote blue, because they care about the social issues more than the other stuff. Understandably so because they're surrounded by the people of different backgrounds etc. To me college degree doesn't prove intelligence especially nowadays because if you know pretty much any skillful trade you can make 100k+, and not be stuck with the student loans, time and energy, but y'all (liberals) keep bringing that up to prove the point, but even then its only a 6% difference.

They raise the standard of living forcing people to get multiple jobs to make the ends meet and then use those numbers to say the jobs and the economy is booming....Its better to make 50k with the standard of living at 40k, than to make 100k with the standard of living at 95k. The issue is the long term impact of Trump are already devastating. The global south just saw how we treated Colombia and Mexico and they are running to China. If you want to argue that a skillful trade is a more cost effective way to earn good money than a college degree, I would say sure, that can be true for a lot of people. Particularly those who might choose a college major that doesn’t lead to a good job. Doubly so for those who might do well in trade school, but lack the intellect for academic study. And that leads me to my point. While college does not “prove” intelligence, it does reflect intellectual ability - the ability to read, write, do math, study, understand … all the things required to gain admission into college. The requirements for trade school are quite different and are far lower in these areas of intellectual ability. Are there intelligent people in trade school? Of course. Just as there are dumb people in college. But it is indisputable that college correlates to intelligence significantly more than trade school does. And I say this as someone who is a major proponent of trade school. And I really like my plumber and electrician. But they are not as intelligent as my friends from college or law school.

True, generally speaking thats accurate, but there are also people that were really smart but couldn't afford college, some people started a family at very young age and needed to make real money to support 'em, some people went into their family business right after HS etc. I agree with you, but there are also variables to some degree.
