They're both frustrating talented combo guards that do not possess "basketball IQ". So many of Jalen's possessions are eerily similar to what I remember from Jeremy Lin (I still think about the Blazers playoff series from time to time). There isn't anything left to "unlock" here. Eventually, thankfully, Morey moved on from the idea that Lin was another star in the making. Jalen is serviceable as a shooting guard. But his role is basically a bench sparkplug. He just happens to start because we don't really have a real alternative. Right now he's the 4th best player on the team and it's becoming painfully obvious who the two team cornerstones are. I'm actually curious to see what Ime says about the SG position this upcoming offseason. What we've seen from him in regular season games is just a small preview of the screaming we're all going to be doing come April.
Lol Jalen went to the bench to end the 3rd and we went on a huge run. He was a -22 for a reason. There is no agenda just facts. Only blind Jalen fans don't see it. Who said he forced up threes? He took a terrible fadeaway, tried another one and got blocked. Jumped in air threw a terrible pass for turnover and didn't get back on defense in any of these possessions. Go watch a replay.

Yes Jalen shouldnt have been sat or better yet didnt even play. He is banged up and refs werent calling fouls on him. He tried hard but at the end of the day he was ineffective and cost the team pts. A player can only try his best if he is scrubbing it up then its on the coach to bench his ass and put in players who are producing. This is on Ime playing him over Cam and Holiday.
Maybe. But if he is on the block they dont want to play him cuz he might get injured. Regardless I think Tate was effective tonight look at Towns FG%. The main issue was benching Cam and Holiday for JG. We woulda won easily if Ime stuck with Ame/Holiday/Cam/Eason/Adams, the lineup that built the lead. Instead he put in the "closers" JG and Brooks then gets mad at the 40 pt quarter lolz.
I don't think he will avg 9 assist but 6 is realistic. However I think Jalen will be a more explosive scorer than Cade eventually. Jalen still has to work on his body. Cade came into the league with an NBA body. Also, I think that 1yr of college helped Cade too. Unfortunately, Jalen has some things he has to work on; ballhandling, weight and shooting but I think he's getting better.
As poor as the offense was...the defense was mainly atrocious ! Brunson drove past EVERY Rocket. There was ZERO defense.
Don’t bother lol that’s a clear Amen hater. He’s upset that Amen is getting notice league wide and is threatened that his boy may be overlooked at some point. Player only fan lol Amen is our best long term prospect.
