So in that mock draft we would swap positions with Nets and sit at #9........
In position to draft Khaman Maluach (7'1" Center) or Xavier Booker (6'11" PF).
Yeah, I would rather have Kel'el Ware now.

    Maluach (Duke)

    Booker (Mich State)

In before our trade for Mikal Bridges (coming soon)

    3 centers through 2 rounds........

A 2 time collegiate/league CHAMPION available NOW sounds nice......

So does Risacher/ Sarr if available............

    Otherwise...........

    Stretch.

I'm not 100% sold on nbadraft.net as a reliable source to be honest.

They don't have Rocco Zikarsky listed as a candidate there - 7'3 monster who matched up against Sarr this season.
Ranked here: https://nbadraftroom.com/the-international-elite-15-top-international-prospects-on-the-nba-horizon/ as the 3rd best international prospect, despite being 17 at the time it was produced, and not eligible for the 2024 nba draft.

His preseason highlights last year as a child playing against men:

It's saying lock your guy in now because there is no liferaft on the horizon. Conversely, everyone is a SG, so no need to max one out now. There's gonna be waves of them coming at you...

I'm not saying he's a #1 pick in the draft.

But he is a first round pick/ lottery pick in almost every other mock draft. I'm just highlighting the unreliability of nbadraft.net (it generally sux!)

Interesting article. I just posted portions of it.

Is Mouhamed Faye the Best International Center Prospect in the 2025 Class?

19-year-old Senegalese Center Mouhamed Faye is coming off a Rookie of the Year campaign in Italy and has picked up where he left off.

He’s up to 13.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks in 26 minutes per game.

Faye has seen his minutes increase by nearly 45 percent this season and yet his foul rate increase has been nominal. For a young athletic center like Faye, who adopts an aggressive approach to defending this is a massive testament to his overall talent, intellect, and timing.

The rising prospect has a high motor, and it’s fully on display on defense. He is constantly meeting pick-and-roll action at the level, then uses his size and length to deter any simple passes to his man, and is able to recover back to his man before the ball can rotate to him back underneath the rim. His consistent execution in hard hedge schemes stands out. Additionally, standing at 6-foot-10 and with a 7-foot-5 wingspan Faye is capable of fully switching onto the perimeter and rotating out to shooters. His athletic profile and motor embolden a versatile defensive profile that is desirable in the modern NBA.

Looks like he would be a great prospect to backup Sengun with time, and bring plenty of defense.
