Giving all these morons a license was the worst idea. We need more geniuses on the road. Say no to DEI on the roads! PS: the speed limit is 60-65. Try to at keep up. Your car won’t explode if you go 65.

Drivers have absolutely gotten worse since the pandemic. Last week I had a lady flip me off when I was turning right in the right line, and she was in the far left lane (three lanes) trying to zoom over and go into a shopping center to my right. I was totally in the right, and she was batshit crazy. Last night some guy almost sideswiped me doing that thing where you have to get over to the right when you exit the freeway, even though the next turn right is half a mile away. I threw a horn his way then he gets in front of me and flashes some rear-facing white lights at me. I have my wife's voice in my head about my kids, etc, so I let it go. I will say this issue is not specific to H-Town. Between the MASSholes, Jersey Drivers, and generally bad drivers here in NY plus snowplow created potholes, its Armageddon here in Albany. It seems like after COVID everyone decided its Super Mario Cart time.
Idiots abound on the highways around here, it's worse on the weekends. My standard in-truck response (old man yelling at clouds) is "Go back to Dallas" (or Austin/Houston, depending on their vectors)
Since my area is now Little India. The drivers have student driver stickers all over their new vehicles. Drive 55 thru the neighborhood then do 40 on the highway...
Yeah I been saying transit systems. Let me build the railroads. We can't let Europe win. Its not just houston, bad drivers all over this country.
Every time I read "DEI", I just substitute "the n word", and everything makes so much more sense contextually.
This didn't happen in Houston, but I watched a lady from another continent flip her car trying to parallel park during her DPS driving test.
The worst drivers, IMO, are drivers of F150s, Dodge RAMS, Audis, BMWs, and Teslas. So if you mean DEI, since we are now calling entitled white dudes as a protected class, then yea, it's way too much. Far and away, the most dangerous development of bad driving over the last few years has been red light running. It's an epidemic and massively dangerous. I hate to say it, but we should bring back the red light cams.
