It's too bad that miles turner doesn't play defense anymore, he would be a nice fit for us. You could run a solid 3 person PF/center rotation where they all play 32 mpg with jabari, turner, alpi.
myles no longer worth even one first round pick doesn't rebound well defense has slipped rob williams much better for us and there is 3 point shooting to be explored in williams' game that he may want to add to get a much bigger contract in the future
Could Kyrie be so furious that he asks out? I think it's a legit possibility. Seeing Luka traded to his ex teammate and sometimes-nemesis Lebron? I would definitely do FVV for Kyrie mid season. He'd be perfect for this team. Plays better defense in the playoffs than the regular season, no slouch at all there. I would imagine the most skilled player of all time would age better than most, although he's on the smaller side. He's the kind of part-time PG part-time SG that would not take too much playmaking away from Amen/Sengun/Green. Serious championship experience, coming off a Finals appearance. Can he be an elite 2nd or 3rd fiddle within the pool of Sengun/Amen/Green? Playoff closer? It's the kind of unstoppable jumper we need to balance having 2 non-shooters on the floor.

This was my thought after seeing this trade. If that’s all it took to get Luka, we should be going after Anthony Edwards. I didn’t think it would be possible at first without trading away our whole team but now i’m thinking differently.
Not all GM's are as dumb as the Mavs owner/gm. The price for young guys and stars with 3 or 4 more years left is going to be 5-6 frps and players. My guess is Dallas is going to try and go for it this year and then trade AD and Irving in the off-season for picks and decent players. Irving has 2 more years on his contract. Dallas has their 25 and 26 draft picks. Their 25 pick is worthless unless AD gets hurt or they trade Irving.

I feel like the Gobert and Bridges' trade swung the pendulum too far in one direction. I hope the Luka trade swings it back a bit.
