Trump added more than double the national debt than biden even if you take out covid spending. Again you can not get away with spewing disinformation here. We're not your braindead cultists here. We're not idiots
You are a liar. Trump added around 3 trillion excluding COVID. Biden added over 8 trillion to the national debt.
The "biden added over 8 trillion" is false. The 8 trillion is total gross new borrowing not debt. If you look at the amount of funds Trump borrowed it was over 9 trillion. All you people do is literally lie about everything non stop. Sad low iq President Trump approved $8.4 trillion of new ten-year borrowing during his full term in office, or $4.8 trillion excluding the CARES Act and other COVID relief. President Biden, in his first three years and five months in office, approved $4.3 trillion of new ten-year borrowing, or $3.2 trillion excluding the American Rescue Plan. https://www.crfb.org/papers/trump-and-biden-national-debt
You dont understand the name of the game. They dont care if they lie or spew disinformation. The name of the game is to spew as much disinformation and lies out there as you possibly can and see what sticks and what doesnt stick. Thats the MAGA playbook. Fill the space with as much chaos and disinformation and see what lands. Their destroying society because of it but they have no shame.
You don't even understand what the national debt is, my guy. And yet you try to argue it? You are confusing many things in your post, and are struggling to understand even basic economic concepts. National Debt by Year 2017 $20,245 Congress raised the debt ceiling 2018 $21,516 2019 $22,719 2020 $26,945 COVID-19 and recession 2021 $28,428 COVID-19 and American Rescue Plan Act 2022 $30,928 Inflation Reduction Act 2023 $33,167 Rising interest rates 2024 $35,464 Credit rating downgrade Biden was raising the national debt like a madman WITHOUT COVID... Trump only saw a meaningful uptick during the unprecedented COVID onset. I would note that most of the debt that was created during COVID was due to the blue states' absurd overreaction to the virus. Without CA, NY, IL, PA etc shutting down, then most of that borrowing was not necessary. Obviously, we know now that it was a wild overreaction, and most likely done to hurt Trump and create this fake (and false) talking point about Trump's spending. Similar to how the Democrats created fake accounting/campaign finance "crimes" to falsely brand Trump a felon. It's all a public relations game to them -- no substance. And no responsibility. GOOD DAY
Have a look -- your boy just got absolutely pimp slapped by yours truly. You guys are just not on my level.
Jesus. When you look at national debt ADDED by a president you have to look at total obligations made under their term The Trump tax cuts cost us 2.2 trillion dollars over 10 years. That debt obviously spreads over a 10 year period including under Bidens term. You do not get to blame biden for debt that was added in his term by Trump. You have to take a look at total spending obligations each president made to calculate debt added. CRPB is a bipartsian DC budget office that does work for congress. We estimate the ten-year cost of the legislation and executive actions President Trump signed into law was about $8.4 trillion, with interest. https://www.crfb.org/blogs/how-much-did-president-trump-add-debt When you calculate the budget deficits under biden through a 4 year term it is still less than 4 trillion dollars
You do realize that there's an entire other side of the ledger that you are not even contemplating -- REVENUE. The tax cuts spurred economic growth and brough in record tax receipts. You have a lot to learn -- and if you don't understand how the national debt is calculated, then you might want to sit this one out. Save yourself further embarrassment. Liberals are particularly stupid on economic points. GOOD DAY
Revenue? We had higher GDP growth under biden than we did under Trump. We had more revenue and more growth under Biden than we did under Trump. Again I understand how national debt is calculated but you obviously dont. You can not just take the nominal total debt and blame the current president for all of it. Not all spending thats being spent under a president is their fault as previous presidents make spending obligations as well. The total spending obligations under Trump added more debt than those under Biden. Thats a fact. Youre playing dumb but youre spewing bullshit Hes an idiot. Trump adds trillions of dollars of tax cuts over a 10 year term and somehow he blames biden for the debt that was added cuz of his policies?
OMG, I hope you realize GDP is not the same as tax revenue. Surely you know this, right? Right? Biden got the benefit of the bounceback from COVID in 2021 -- growing off a very low base (again, due to unnecessary blue state shutdowns). But Biden never even put up a 3% GDP growth year, despite unprecedented government spending (which adds to GDP growth). Trump's economy was far better, any way you look at it, until COVID hit -- which again the dip there was largely due to blue state overreaction. American voters know that Trump's policies are better for the economy. That's been tested repeatedly. Including at the ballot box last November.
First, you try to blame Biden for the national debt, only to be told that Trump's policies actually caused more debt in the long run. So, no, Biden didn’t do more damage to the debt than Trump. And let’s talk about this GDP growth you keep mentioning. Sure, there was growth under Trump, but it was artificial, driven by tax cuts and deregulation, which just racked up future debt. Trump aso inherited a strong economy from Obama, who recovered the economy from the 2008 recession. Trump's economy grew, but it wasn’t all his doing—it was the continuation of the recovery momentum from Obama's policies.(I have the data to back up what Im saying, do you?) And now you’re blaming blue states for COVID responses, but you conveniently forget Trump's role in how poorly the pandemic was handled. It's like you’re cherry-picking to make a point, but the facts don't back you up. Please stop lying.
Real GDP in 2021 was 5.7%.....Again you're an idiot man and you keep embarrassing yourself. Facts are Trump spending obligations were more than Bidens spending obligation. Those are the facts
There is so much conflict of interests going on with these guys in Musk's group getting access to all that personal information from all Americans, including competitors to their business interests. It's also a huge National Security risk when you look at all Elon's China business interests. Trump has given the keys to everyone's personal information to random rich guys and loyalists not given any authority by Congress to get highly classified government and personal information to benefit themselves and their companies. It's a huge red flag with corruption in all capital letters. You think these guys aren't going to benefit themselves from government contracts worth billions? Think again, and take off the blinders covering your eyes. They have bought their way in through the guy who will give them anything they want, as long as he gets their loyalty and a piece of the pie.
Do they? Really? I think he just conned a herd of sheep into the voting booths, believing he would make their lives better, from farmers to auto workers to black and brown Americans, to blue collar workers, and to those who thought he would propose a more affordable healthcare plan. Little did they know that once elected all the corporate billionaires and Trump's shady lawyers would be joining in with Trump's government positions. Yeah, a bunch of guys wanting to be oligarchs making decisions on the working class and poor. They will be widening that wealth gap to keep them from standing a chance to really live life free of the burdens Trump blamed on woke and leftists.
