and when the clippers beat them again in the next game.. are we gonna get the "steph curry special" already putting it into place with sitting out this game, so if they lose the next game.. "they were recovering from injury"... did it get it right??

Once they couldn't outspend teams, because of the apron rules Adam silver put in 2022. Their window was shut. Which is why bob myers stepped down shortly following the creation of that rule lol

He's old. The older you get, the less often you can have great games. He has 7 games outa 15 with a sub 15 gamescore. In 15-16 (i just picked a random year), he had 10 outa 79. Just comes with age. He's still awesome, still a star, but he's not what he once was.

Golden State has just aged out and the rules won't allow them to just pay their way out of it. That being said they were a dynasty. Curry is the Goat shooter of all time and Kerry (as much as I can't stand the jerk) is a really great basketball coach. NBA did cheat on their behalf, but they have cheated for the West Coast and East Coast for a long time and until someone is brave enough to whistle-blow on them and they get sued with extreme gravity they will continue to cheat.

A long time ago, they were a combination of being lucky and being good when drafting. In recent years, they weren't as lucky or as good when drafting.

    Draft.............Player........Pick
    2009.............Curry...........#7
    2011...........Thompson...#11
    2012............Green.........#35

    Draft.............Player........Pick
    2020..........Wiseman.......#2
    2021..........Kuminga........#7
    2021............Moody........#14

It’s insane in this day and age for the networks not to push for the ability to switch match-ups for their broadcasts or in case they are allowed to just do whatever they want, not replace bad teams like the Warriors and give those to teams and match-ups that are much more interesting like Rockets - Cavs last week. There’s so much money involved that you’d think they’d have the right to and would use that more often in case they do. But my guess is the NBA still has to approve as they are the ones who eventually get the revenue from the faces they push. In other words: screw the NBA for still marketing Curry, Lebron, KD as much as they do and just Wemby of the new generation who are playing much better and have All-Stars as well.
