At mine it reached its height about 2 years ago on the same platforms. But slowly, a few people have taken it off, and none of the Zoomers we have hired since 2023 use pronouns. Only the millenials and a few of the Gen Xers. Same with the color emojis. The new young people are just using the default yellow.
I mean, I kind of get the color emoji thing...but then again, I wouldn't care. If I find a funny meme, I'll use it, whatever the skin color of the person in the meme is...
Her name is Karoline”No Binder” Leavitt. I just saw the red headed mop head at a Mickey D earlier asking me if I wanted some fries with my order.
I see some under 30 doing it, especially women. It could be an Ivy League thing though. I don’t make or stop my employees from doing it. If someone wants to specify “she/her” then that’s fine. I don’t personally do it but I don’t think anyone is confused by me. I think it was odd to require employees to do it and equally odd to force employees to take it off. If I were trans I could see wanting myself to be identified to prevent being called the wrong gender.
Does MAGA got any insider info on why the crash happened? I heard rumors about dwarves or something. Do you got the latest scoop?
I never did it but never had any issue with others doing it. The one that tripped me up was someone who has "they" But I never gave a F. It's really not that hard to call someone what they want to be called or referred as. I think one has to be mentally ill to take issue with respecting people on such a small thing.
I had a few of those. Every single one of them, without fail, was a bad performer and toxic employee. Not quite as bad as this guy, but... (just looking for a reason to post this lol)
Its sad to see the trans community and supporters hijack a useful tool. Pronouns in signatures can be useful when a gender is indiscernible. But ultimately in a professional environment, we went wrong a long time ago when it was appropriate to address by gender (Mr. Mrs. Miss, Ms.). Its fascinating how humans double down on bad ideas.
It's a shame how trans people are scapegoats for entitled crypto fascists ruining the country. Those should be the real scapegoats. There needs to be a new Nazi ideology that replaces Jews with crypto fascists as the scapegoats and I'll be on board with your Nazism.
My company is mostly remote and some still keep theirs. It's just a data point to me and as long as they're not obnoxious about their politics, I don't mind accommodating it. I think most people are understanding and even curious about knowing more about their experience but society is shifting towards an ADHD culture where inconveniences add up into acting out in public. Pointing fingers at con shills on X or pink hair TikTokers has sent common decency into a toilet flush to the bottom.
Yep, Ivy League and a west coast university thing. We hired this one lady (older millenial) in management who has the same skin tone as Alperen but she uses a brown skin emoji. None of us get it, nor will we question her about it.
Pink hair tiktokers don't have the backing of billionaires. That's the difference that makes me scoff at any of this both sides bs. At the end of the day only one side expresses rhetoric that suggests a desire to have complete groups of humans not exist. This creates a situation where the fight for the existence of some group becomes political. A trans person existing is now political. We have politicized existing similar to 1920s and 1930s Germany.
