I see someone is walking away from stating Bernie takes pharmaceutical corporation money. Too much time CEOing (embedding tweets) ((looking for negative Muslim stories))

Second time you quoted that post of mine from 9 years ago. I understand that I dominate your thoughts and emotions.

If you make a bit more of an effort, you will also find MANY posts of mine in which I criticize Donald Trump or call him crazy, a criminal, etc.

Some people's opinions change over time as they learn more. I would recommend it to you, but it seems like drug abuse and hate and general bitterness about being a failure in life have made you a lost cause.

Why has your opinion of Kennedy changed? Why should we now listen to him?

My opinion of him is not 100 % clear. During the Covid pandemic, and after having children, I realized that not everything I automatically assumed was "settled science" actually is.

I am totally pro vaccines in general if long-term studies have shown the risk/reward benefit, but when they were trying to force experimental Covid vaccine mandates on children (who are not really at risk from Covid), I started looking more into the statistics. We also moved between three different countries in that timeframe, and I realized that vaccine requirements are somewhat different from country to country (and we had to re-do some vaccines for our daughter when we moved from England to Germany, although she really already had them, but they weren't recognized).

I also saw my daughter have a very strong reaction to one of the vaccines she got (not Covid - tbh, I don't remember exactly what it was, but she was quite sick for 2-3 days). Maybe that's the way it has to be, maybe not. I didn't look into it further. We are still doing all the required/recommended vaccinations for our kids.

Long story short, I don't know all the detail about his vaccine skepticism (and some of it may be stupid or BS), but I am more open to questioning things than I was in 2016, and I am less likely to dismiss someone as a lunatic because he is a skeptic. A lot of the silenced "conspiracy theories" around Covid were actually correct.

Kennedy is not just a covid anti vaxxer. He still is unqualified for the position

I remember a thread you started about children's being required to receive covid vaccinations

I tried to answer your question sincerely.

It seems like the left is saying almost every nominee is "unqualified". These are political positions. The real expertise is normally below the person that heads the respective administrative entity.

You should go through all of the reports yourself. Do your own research

I am just doing the exact same thing @HP3 has been doing. Asking questions and placing the burden on the other person.

I have looked at that page, and unless I am missing something, it doesn't contain that level of detail. I don't think that level of detail is accessible to us.

So his claim that Sanders didn't receive large contributions from the pharma companies themselves is unsubstantiated and cannot actually be substantiated.

But you wouldn't believe the information anyway. You don't believe Bernie, and it doesn't matter to you that virtually all contributions he has received have been from individuals. So the only way it can be proved for you is to comb the records. There are millions of donations.

What I would or wouldn't is speculation by you. If you show it to me in black and white, I believe it. I am responding to unsubstantiated claims, showing they cannot be substantiated.

What we DO know is that Sanders and Warren were two of the largest recipients of funding from the pharmaceutical industry. It's on that page. In black and white.

And no, that page makes it clear that not "virtually all" contributions have been from individuals.

    I don't doubt your sincerety

Trump is not worried about their capability. He is making some of these appointments out his distaste for government and to score political points

This dude just stated that black people should get different vaccines
bacause we have different immune systems . . . .. hhhhmmmmmmm
He based on some research he says happened in Poland . .. the Bastion of Black folx
(I wonder where they imported their black folx from for their study)

This is frighteningly close to "Black people don't feel pain like others. . . .
they feel much less pain so they should not get pain meds like others"

Sure take a look at this

These are his top 100 contributors over 5 years.

    https://www.opensecrets.org/members...tors?cid=N00000528&cycle=2020&recs=100&type=I

Large contributions are there but that's over 5 years and they make up 20% of his contributions and they are again, individuals, not corporations. The large majority 70% come from individuals donating no more than $200.

What do you mean? He refused PAC money, that is the definition of not taking any money from any corporation. People can make large contributions if they want.

I can show you the same thing with Warren if you want.

Thanks - I am struggling to make the numbers add up. If you add up the top 100, it doesn't get anywhere close to what is known as the total amount they received.

Yes it makes sense that they dont add up. Its only top 100. There are many many MANY contritions over 5 years. Millions by individuals(very little by PAC), and they all get smaller as you go down by total contributed. Not many at all seems to work in big pharma either.

The top one was like what.....30,000? Do you get what I'm saying here?

Not so much related to RFK but I wonder how many poor people who voted for Trump have healthcare insurance from Obamacare and receive financial assistance provided by the Affordable Care Act (ACA)? Well...you can kiss your health insurance and any financial assistance goodbye. Congratulations on voting out your own healthcare which you can no longer afford without the financial assistance. Idiots.
