Shaq more scared of Grizzlies… really barely winning by 1 and lost 3 in a row to Rox

Yep, I think we're all just venting frustration because of so many dumb mistakes and a game that should have been really won. Rockets probably tired. Been on the road playing several back to backs.

FVV is NOT who I want shooting with the game on the line...the foul called was HORRIFIC. We had Dillon to defend JJJ and Tate on the floor. We go small with the game on the line.

He had no choice due to the time.

Sengun is more important to the Rockets than ja is to the grizzlies.

It's like he'll either hit a big shot or turn it over, obviously there are other outcomes but those two are the main things that I see happening. When he's decisive, like his last game against the Grizz or against the Knicks, usually he can make positive stuff happen but he's GOT to work on his protective handle and strength.

There was enough time. You know how Fred's shots go; they stay in the air for ages.

Amen needed to demand the ball back after the Grizzlies walled him off on the first go. I am optimistic that he'll learn to be more assertive.

FVV should just be off the ball or be a connective passer. If he is Iso-ing thats just a mistake.

People understand that is a DHO set design right? Amen is supposed to be the hand off guy with Fred and Jalen curling. Amen makes the decision to feel the defender on him whether he is going to hedge towards the guy getting the hand off, and if he did, then turn to the rim and drive but he read it wrong and the defender didn't hedge towards Fred and Amen got stopped.

He also needs to learn how to do a floater at some point in his career and stop running into the paint without a plan. Just running into defenders in the paint won’t guarantee him a foul call.

Everyone angry at Jalen's turnovers but he didnt miss 3 consecutive 3s like FVV.

I would take JG on that last possession over FVV all day every day.

JG only has 2 TURNOVERS for the entire game. He was +10. Literally making a mountain of a molehill? Look at FVV -10.

    We can't win without Sengun.

Memphis acting like they won the chip . Ah well. Houston will learn from this and move on. I would still like to see Houston get timelord somehow. I don’t think landale is gonna cut it for us. He’s just not the defensive big man that we need.

This is probably because their #1 and #2 options on offense are both better than any player on the Rockets, particularly closing games.

EDIT: If JJJ wasn't such a foul magnet (reminds me of Dwight), he'd clearly be better than Alpi by any objective opinion.

Jalen had 5 assists and 2 turnovers for the game. He should have had the ball at the end. He's the best on the team at breaking down the defense.

Wish Amen didn't whiff the alley oop from Dillon.

I have reflected on my behavior and accept responsibility for this loss. I became overconfident with the streaky Dillon and told @Reeko to walk the dogs in the first half. Even up by five with mere minutes to go I had not checked my attitude. I’ll do better for the next game and show the Udoker improvement.
