They were due to lose one of these close games. I'm actually not too mad they lost because of that refs mistake. Rockets simply couldn't close it out.

 

Yeah but FVV also missed 3 straight 3s that was the real killer.

 

Jaylen Wells is a really good player. How the hell was he not picked up until the 39th pick in the 2nd round of the 2024 draft?

 

Green always turns the ball over in the clutch

 

Fred had time to get closer but choose to chuck it…

 

Well I was certain I wasn't the only one

 

Cuz its hard to tell with wing players who would be good and who would be bad.

 

I don't think Jalen played well enough to be the number one option on that last play, but he should've been the second after Amen got cut off, not FVV for another bad three. But it is what it is, no team wins every game and the fact remains that our Rockets are one of the clutchest teams in the NBA even with this shitty loss.

Jalen is playing better all throughout the season but his late-game turnover problem remains an issue. If he's not going downhill or taking a quick shot, chances are he'll either lose the ball or make a grenade pass. Things to learn from, if he wants to be a star scorer in the league.

I can't keep pinning the blame on Fred, Jalen missed a free-throw that would've had us tied at the end and Amen missed a wide open bunny because he didn't want to come down first. We'll be ok. But please come back soon, Alpi!

Fred jacking 3s and 2 horrific turnovers - he can’t get by no one, he can’t finish at the rim … like WTH do teams have to fear from him having the ball in crunch time if it’s not a catch and shoot 3

I see the set they ran for Amen was blown up, but the next best option is for Fred to chunk a 3 when we need 2?

That was DHO. AMen was going to be used as the hand off guy to Jalen or Fred.

Hoenstly when did he lose his handle in the fourth? He had one major strip away in the baseline.

 

I’m not a big Hoilday fan but Tate wasn’t playing well so I wish Ime would have played him or Jeff Green instead of riding Tate. If Tate isn’t playing well then sit him.

 

He chose to avoid a possible contest on that final shot.

 

Lack of a closer is still a huge problem. Our go to play is FVV jack up a 3 or Green run into three defenders and turn the ball over.

The game changed from that point on, he sucked the rest of way and Memphis went on a 7 point run. Him and Fred should’ve stayed on the bench. Ime coached a bad 4th quarter. Tate was terrible in the 4th as well. He refused to pass the ball

 

I'm excited to read how Jalen sucks and is the reason we lost for the next 2 days until we play Brooklyn.
