DEI could very well have been the cause of the accident. American Airlines has a DEI program and the FAA had one up until very recently. My hunch is that when all the information comes out, Trump will be proven right again. All of these people saying it wasn't DEI don't have as much info as Trump on this. The labor pool in the DC area is so horrible that that should strongly consider moving these agencies to a better part of the country. I've done that before with businesses and had tremendous uplifts in quality of talent available.

I have a helpful life hack for you all. Every time one of these douches says "DEI" what they actually mean is "desegregation' - that is what happens when you have a bunch of mediocre legacy degenerates in charge.
They make black people and gay people the face of whatever they want to change and people latch on to it like leeches. Most people who are against DEI just talk about black and gay people. Nobody is talking about white women being put in positions they aren't qualified for. And hell, most of the black people who are against ending it just latch on because they were told it affects them even though they haven't benefited from it at all.
Can we really just stop politicizing every tragedy? Every air traffic controller and pilot go through rigorous testing and have a very small margin for error. Make just a few mistakes as an air traffic controller (not even that result in mishaps) - and you are done. Doesn't matter who you are. DEI wasn't the cause anymore than Trump firing a bunch of people a week ago. The blame and finger pointing to push political agendas is getting sickening.
I think one of the most important BENEFITS of ending DEI is it takes away the false stigma of a black person holding a position of significance and people saying it was a DEI hire. Removing the DEI program evens the playing field and all can be comfortable that everyone earned their seat. These days, when you have a black person in a significant position, people will question whether it was a diversity hire. This sucks for the truly qualified black people -- as they are unfairly impacted.
Oh boy I'm going to promise ya infrastructure will still crumble. Wages will stagnate. Rent will still go up. Eggs will still go up.... And a consistent 35%-45% of the country still will be angry at migrants, minorities, trans people etc 4 years from now.
