Comparing Biden 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 videos, one sees Biden slipping into his old age. Comparing 2016, 2020 and 2024 Trump videos, Trump has lost his fast ball. Trump will try and power through his dotage in second term, without the self-realization he is no longer for for office. There is a real possibility that if the Rs lose control of Congress in 2026, Trump will mail it in for the two last years and work on his golf game.
I'm pretty sure the mailing in has begun and begun many years ago; Trump is and remains an old man yelling at the TV (he was literally doing this as the plane crash happened!). I was reading the other day, he's the "Head of State" that people try to appease and who gets to conduct his insane/corrupt foreign policy about invading Greenland and taking bribes; but in terms of being "head of the government" who actually does the work of governing, that seems to have been outsourced to- the very worst, most repulsive people - Stephen Miller, Elon Musk (not a government employee) Russ Vought (also not a government employee) - to implement the worst policies
Trump is not a ideologue. He is 100% a transactional POTUS. He is also a lame duck President, if the 22nd amendment holds, which I am currently very unsure about if Trump babblings still make sense in 2028. The Rs are going to have to continue throwing $$$ at Trump to hold his attention, which the billionaire tech bros can certainly do.
