Warner Bros. Pictures has premiered the full trailer for filmmaker Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan new feature “Sinners” opening April 18th.

Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (both played by Michael B. Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.

That greater evil is vampires, though the trailer seems to evade this point. Coolger writes and directs the film which marks his and Jordan’s latest collaboration following “Black Panther,” “Creed” and “Fruitvale Station”.

    He don't miss.

I just wish Coogler wasn't so tied to Michael B. Jordan. He's just ok.

But, you know if Coogler wrote and directed it, it will be as good as it can be.

Heard a great interview with Coogler (on local Bay Area radio). He was so passionate about this project and thoughtful about his answers.
Like others said, I don't like horror much, but I'll give him the huge benefit of the doubt he deserves and go see this. From what he said, the horror element is definitely part of the big plan, not random. And the musical devotion in the flick is apparently incredible.

i see some people saying this movie is slow for the first hour, but I really liked the first hour more than the last hour. I want to see a Smoke and Stack prequel about the war and Chicago. And what's up with Wunmi being a witch? A lot of meat left on the bone before everything pops off IMO.
