Missing both Jabari and Tari really hurt tonight, but not enough to prevent the W.

2-way scoring wings… Is that not his role on this team??? Or do you tap out because you’re out of your element in this conversation?

Imagine the wild adrenaline dump they had last night, probs didn’t get any sleep. You take a win under these circumstances any way you can

We let teams back in too easy and if not corrected it will be our downfall in the playoffs

The negative focus is probably gonna be on how Jalen played to end the game, or how Alpi played or whatever, but I'd like to do the opposite for a sec and say that Jae'sean Tate has been a consummate professional and saved our asses this game. Yes, he was an older rookie, but this is someone who was on the all-rookie first team and now is only getting spot minutes for us. And yet it never seems like he complains or pouts, he just plays his game and does what he needs to do--and more often than not he helps the team when he's on the court.

Once he gets that 3pt shot going, I can see him as a PJ Tucker (but more dynamic) type player. Here's hoping he can get his form perfect!

19-20 from the line helped a lot.

Tired legs off three very difficult games. Defense persisted. The Hawks also played poorly, a win nevertheless. Move on.

    that is a bs take

They won without Adams and Jabari
They were on bad side of a b2b and won
    No injuries
Helped get their fans thru monotony of the work week
    Jalen Broke AtlantAnkles
    Won as a team …Tate!
    LFG
    Beautiful win

At least they won the game. That’s all that matters.

Perfect Segue, Jalen Green has been in the league for 4 years and Ant has been in the league for 5. Ant has always been the closer for Minny but Green has yet to develop it. Amen seems to have the ability to close and isn't afraid of the bright lights but his shot isn't fully functional.

Is it possible that Green never develops that killer mentality that players like Ant/KD/MJ/Kobe have? He just looks passive out there when the game is on the line or he makes boneheaded mistakes like turning it over. I love Jalen Green when he is hot but when he shrinks under the pressure what do we do?

Not that it matters what's going on in the Least, but I find it interesting that our record is now only half a game back from Boston's. We're also starting to open up a decent gap between us and the 5th seeded Lakers (5.5 games). Don't know if we'll finish a top 3 seed, it's still very tight, but starting to believe we have a really strong chance to finish top 4 and get home court advantage in the first round.

Tate actually has underated ability to create scoring on his own. When he gets to his spots he has some very reliable moves

They said he leads the league in deflections with second place in the league having 56 fewer.

Like he is by far and away the most prolific at stripping the ball from a offensive player in the league.
