If the Rockets want it they definitely have the assets to outbid the Spurs.

It would make a ton of sense to bring him home and have a closer.

I’m intrigued with keeping FVV for this deal if you offer picks, Cam, Reed and expirings.

I think we pass. Genuinely feel like we can get a better two way player who can shoot too. Since I told you guys stars coming along often like 4 more have become available. They're always available. Just wait till next one.

In 1 year I don't think he'll be better than Amen at PG so I'm not sure what we'd be doing with him from that point onwards.

Not a good fit. Get us someone who can shoot and isn't useless without the ball.

If Stone and Udoka think it's good I'm down.

So basically Klutch want to ensure they have a client with Wemby for the long run. Got it.

I like Fox a lot and he would be an upgrade on FVV for sure, but he doesn’t fit long term unless we move Jalen for a more efficient shooter.

As of now, I think we should stand pat and move on from FVV when we his contract is done and look at potential upgrades and trades then.

Only person I would trade for at the deadline is Booker or KD. Fox sucks at shooting the 3. Kinda just want to let this team ride it out and see how far we can go in the playoffs then make moves in the offseason especially if we make to the 2nd round or farther in the playoffs. Players will want to come play here.

I have such mixed feelings on this since I think one of the biggest things that will stop us from winning it all this year is a clutch go to performer and Fox is just that.

That being said, we have so many young guys and we really don't know if we have that or not simply because this will be their first playoffs. Personally I believe we have 3 potential all stars on our team with one being top 5 potential.

My gut says stay put with the core, upgrade the 1 or 2 bench spots and push it as far as we can these playoffs to re-assess.

IF you could trade Jalen for Fox - would you?

Hopefully spurs dump all their assets for him, that’s the best case scenario.

    Ultimately, nope.

Age difference is too large and honestly Jalen's highs are better than Fox's. When Jalen is on he's literally putting up Kobe like numbers and with the team in 2nd place and a top 5 team in the NBA I'm willing to roll the dice that Jalen will continue to imrpove.

Honestly, Rockets should make no big trades with where they are sitting. They have beaten every team in the NBA and we should just let it roll and see what this team can do in the playoffs should they make it there.

With the way the team has been growing ive kinda began to be against the idea of adding a star player and changing the chemistry.

...But Fox might be one guy who could come in and fit seamlessly and not drastically alter the way we play.

Still, im skeptical about adding a big name in season at this point.

a wildly streaky shooter in a small frame, exactly what we don’t need

Fox with Spurs would suck, but whatever, we have Amen.

Part of me is afraid Fox will unlock a new Wemby dynasty. Then a bunch of west teams get moved down.

West's parity is working as intended, don't really want the current hierarchy disturbed.

Cam Johnson is the biggest splash we need before the deadline. We don’t need anything more. I think we stick to this group and continue to grow and wait for a bigger fish that fits our team better than Fox or Butler.
