I often wonder what the hard core lefties think. That the Feds just have unlimited funds? It’s not the govt money anyways. It’s our ****ing money and I for one don’t think I should be forced to fund healthcare, lodging, food, phone and cash for migrants When my kid has to work for all that. Billions spent on useless govt jobs and NGO jobs for lefties. Great pay, benefits, health care, vacations and pensions all paid for by you and me. The folks I know back home in DC, who work for the Feds or contractors, barely do any work. Many golf a few times a week and get paid DC commuter stipends. It’s all BS. They are trying to sort this out. And the left will cry and shriek the whole way because their cushy little work from home Fake Make Work jobs are about to get eliminated. I think the biggest misunderstanding is how govt spending works. We spend more than we take in in taxes. The spending is paid for by printed money. US treasuries are sold to cover costs. They create that money out of nothing with a promise to pay the bond holder back plus interest. Often times it’s the FED we owe interest too. The tax receipts are used to cover the interest payments only. It’s a GIANT Ponzi scheme. What should really happen is the FED should end and the treasury dept should be in charge of issuing US dollar debt and dollars, not a cabal of secret private banks they call the federal reserve. It’s not federal and there are zero reserves.
You may want to check which administrations historically increased deficit spending and our debt. Which party had a balanced budget?

There was a ****ton of waste with Cares I (R), Cares II (D), PPP(D). Infra bill is spread over several years, but Biden tried spending as much as they could out the door like those game shows where you get 10 mins to grab everything you can from a store. I don't think they "rammed through" anything though. It was a split house with 50 votes. 13 Rs voted for the Infra bill to make it bipartisan. Those Republicans got bamboozled when he passed the Inflation Reduction Act afterwards...Dems da breaks. Overall, the partisan fingerpointing is part and parcel to our decent into madness.
