Not if Columbia is less likely to cooperate and work on curtailing future immigration. Not if Columbia doesn't cooperate and do more to eliminate the corruption and help curtail drug traffic. But as far as deporting undocumented immigrants, it doesn't help or improve things at all.
As long as we properly secure our own border and deport illegal aliens, especially ones with criminal history, then it means less what Colombia does to cooperate...we can finally take care of our own backyard now.
We were deporting illegals before Trump got in office. I agree securing our own border is a good thing. Trump's actions with Columbia doesn't change any of that, and perhaps makes one of those things less likely if they can't work with us to stop the flow of undocumented migrants.
Securing our border is a big fat red herring, there are not people streaming across taking our jobs, they are doing migrant worker jobs, they are not voting in elections, they can't, they are not committing crimes - on average they have a much lower crime rate than citizens, it is 100% a red meat thing, because we don't talk about truth anymore. In truth, we need more immigrants to sustain growth, what we need is a better PROGRAM of how to handle immigration and have it include some form of assimilation - or deportation if not accomplished. We need people that want to be here, and want to be Americans.....not those that are going to try to bring a broken culture like that of the middle east here to our country and try to recreate the crap that is that area - nope, we want folks that want the American dream and to be American. Need to find better policies to make that happen. DD
I was offended, but then Trump's mere existence offends me, so I didn't really even get a blip on the spectrometer. But, the cucks at Google will comply with this name change, which bothers me more deeply than I would have expected. I've lived along the Gulf for 40 years, as have a couple generations of my family before me. We've fished and sailed and birded on it. It's integral to my identity as a Texan and Houstonian. You can't just change the name. When the president said it, whatever, he's easy to ignore. When Google Maps says it, it will insinuate itself throughout society. Was browsing alternatives to Google Maps for Android. Figured I might vote with my wallet errr... eyeballs. Turns out the alternatives suck. Now I must choose: my convenience or my heritage? Hmmm.

That man's wife will be deported to Venezuela, and have to wait for up to 2 years to get her VISA to come live with her husband. I have a good friend who married an English girl and it took 18 months to get her approved to come over and live with him. DD
