Hardens defense is vastly underrated because of 1 video of him falling asleep. Dude played amazing defense when he needed to.

He expects Jim Cornette to carry his bags. He got big head syndrome.

Amen said he felt like Kobe tonight. He played like it too. This kid is a phenom. Rockets are going to kick some butt in the playoffs. Brooks was unconscious tonight.

and nobody would have expected our young core to beat cleveland twice
and nobody would have expected us to have the #2 seed
and nobody would have expected us to win with Jalen having an off nite and Jabari on the bench
and nobody would have expected us to be a year ahead of schedule forcing the NBA media / world to take notice

    FU Boston
FU POOR ZING ASS and your dumb azz smirk
FU J Brown shiit ass defender

Brooks surprises you, when it seems he is on the way down. Amen is getting sharper day by day.

Sengun 11 points, Jalen 12 points, FVV 7 points, Adams 4 points. Tari 6 points.

No Cam, no JS Jr. The Celtics at near full strength at home.

End result: A Houston Rockets win!

On the miscue thing, I think Brown's point is that he and Kornet switched too late, so Brown was still rushing toward Amen as the ball arrived. This put Brown off balance, so when Amen attacked the basket, Brown had to overcompensate in the other direction. And that's one reason why, when Amen pulled up, Brown was flying out of the picture and Amen had the lane to himself.

He was outstanding in the post and those hands of his were amazing. He improved at defense from year 3 on until he left. He was active defensively but he did things on offense that were sloppy and preventable. Turning the ball over near midcourt became his Achilles heel to deal with a blitzing defense, he gave up on plays trying to get refs to save him, his defense in the playoffs was not at a playmaking level and he didn't have the no quit approach on offense.

I'm just saying Sengun has a different mental makeup, which is one who believes he can make a difference on defense by playing defense the best he can and it is a huge sacrifice to his offense. Harden never understood that. He was still great. He's still one of my all time favorite Rockets players. I still love the dude. I wish he could break out of his shell that prevents him from true NBA both way greatness. I just know it isn't happening.

Steph Curry will NEVER be great in my mind either in terms of elite NBA players of history because shoot that three all you want but you SUCK at defense. Teams game plan to go right at you. If they do? You're not an all time great player. You're just a shooter that got so good at shooting that the NBA fans loved you, thought you were a cute shooter guy that sold tickets, the rules changed to support your shooting, refs swallowed whistles and you're not actually that good. College proved what you were... a guy that could get hot at times but not win a fairly contested game when you're not a darling.

Harden is a HUGE part of my fandom historically, but it's time to move on and these current men running out there on the court today, the coaches, the owners, the media personnel, the ball boys on down to the people that tear the tickets... everyone is better now than they were then because this team has HEART! Like not a little bit of heart but more heart than we've seen since Hakeem's championship teams. They certainly have more heart than the Barkley teams, Yao teams, Harden teams and Lost Boys teams. ...Harden was talented, this team has fight and it's a whole lot of fighting mother****ers who don't crumble when **** gets tough. That's the difference.
