This is like when Shaq would only fill his gas tank up half way because it's cheaper.

Weren't you blaming Biden for inflation and not the pandemic and a war between one of the largest oil producers and one of the largest grain producers in the world. You're either too stupid to realize that inflation wasn't caused by the president or were purposely spreading disinformation.

The people bringing up egg prices know it's not Trump's fault. They are pointing out the hypocrisy and stupidity of MAGA by throwing the argument back in their face.

We can start with the border wall and his health care plan. He's only had 8 years to figure those out. To steal a phrase from @astros123, brain dead MAGA voters didn't learn the first time.

Maybe the WSJ editorial board or Turley will have an opinion you can share when the time is right.

Wrong like usual. You realize we live in a mostly market economy and commodities like egg prices can be checked daily.

Look - as illogical as it may sound, the American people hold the sitting President responsible for things like inflation and shortages.

Donald Trump is now President, and he is large part ran on blaming all of the economic woes on Biden - and now Trump is in the hot seat.

The Trump term just began and it is possible that the economic forecast of the American people gets better over the next four years, and (right or wrong) the credit will go to Trump.

We are just getting started and overall are in the Honeymoon stage, something Trump did not have 8 years ago.

All of these politicians when they win believe that they have tapped into the American people and that the American people are loyally behind their programs and agenda - and most of the time they are not, something Biden learned the hard way and if things do not get better, the narrative against Trump will change as well.

One thing I will give Trump is that he has not been status quo early in his second term. That could end up being a great or a disaster, but at least it isn't the same.

The same thing happened when Biden won.... when things are not going great from the perspective of the American people, those in office always get blamed. Trump is no different, and if prices do not go down, then Trump will get widespread blame. We can debate the logic, but it is something that has been consistent in the USA for well over 100 years.

It was under Biden with some people ..... and if the economy had been bad when Trump took office first, I am sure that they would have jumped on him too.

It is just how American politics are in 2025.

MAGA was lying about a stolen election and storming the Capitol. Great patriots. Your panties are in a twist because Trump's lies about fixing inflation in one week is pointed out. These two things are not in the same realm of bad faith.

Well, so far Trump has bragged about how much he has done in his first few weeks.

But seems that he is not focused on inflation. He says it's no longer his number one issue.

So yeah, he's not going to do anything about it. Which makes him responsibe.

Wanting Trump do something about inflation is loving the country. Wishing that Trump hadn't lied and had actually fulfilled his promise to fix inflation and lower the price of eggs is loving your country, bro.
