Well, I wonder how long it will take the refs to do something to cause this game to go in the Chefs favor.
Easy to second guess but that play has been money all year for the Bills. Plus extra points are not guaranteed, just ask Fairbairn
And the Bills were stupid af to go for two to try to make is a three point game, at halftime...? Chasing those ****ing points the rest of the game. If they score here, they should go for 2 AGAIN, to try to go up 9. If they had just kicked the damn extra point to make it 21-17.
mahomes and steph curry are so similar its crazy even the ref support in playoff games is similar.. someone on twiter wrote that since 2020 mahomes has had like 30+ turnovers wiped out due to penalties which was far and away the league lead ahead of aaron rodgers in that same time span.. crazy
Refs do help him but that stat is taking outta contest. Most of those are false starts on defense, so he takes a chance, knowing its coming back. Rodgers used to do that all the time Don't believe everything you read
not long. the spots all game have been atrocious. One horrible one on cook in the 2nd quarter, another one later on, now third down spot here was trash, and the 4th down spot is garbage just so they can gaslight on the review and say play stands as called
I’m not second guessing. I would say it’s a bad play call to go for it regardless, especially early, especially in the first half. Extra points aren’t guaranteed but 95% is better than 50, considering the context.
I bow to the greatness of the Reid/Mahomes/Spagnuolo trio. They took a team that was clearly not the most talented to the Super Bowl yet again. Second year in-a-row I gave them little chance.
