[WOJ] Rockets getting Steven Adams in trade

Both Adams and Landale are great in interviews. Something about the accent, too, but they seem likeable and smart.

 

We have Australian, Kiwi, and Turkish accents represented...we might need Jalen to start putting on a fake, over the top British accent a-la Madonna so people will call him smart, too

If I had to pick a players jersey right now, it would be Adams, preferably with #23 to honour Calvin and Michael Adams

 

Jalen should try a Filipino accent.

 

He scored 14 points, not 26. Adams was just awesome out there!

 

Might have been Steveo’s best game as a rocket. More and more I’m hoping we can extend him; he’s fitting in very well with this team.

 

When he made that midrange hook shot nothing but the net, I was like, "He can do that?"

I raised my eyebrows in surprise, a lot! Heck, it’s caused new wrinkles on my forehead, as if I needed to add more. If I ever saw Stevo take and make that shot, I’ve forgotten it. Very impressive, Mr. Adams. More, please.

This is not true for 99% of my ancestry to be honest. It's just not the same for everyone. Pasta never made it here and rice was a luxury. Near the equator and the two poles, we're meat and fat people with a few veggies and pickles.

Carbs (through corn, fast food, FMCG) was pushed on everyone and every single country that received that wave shot up in diabetes. Those people have been busted manipulating government charts, textbooks, TV shows. The conditioning on this is as deep as red scare type conditioning, I suspect it will take a while to get out of it.

People are free to do what they want but in some places the social fabric helps and in others it hurts. Carbs are essentially a dessert imo and every 5-10 years we're getting closer to that understanding.

Steve-O has been great when available, I just wish he could play on B2Bs and more minutes. Feels like they're really treating him with kid gloves to make sure he stays healthy.
