I think both say no, rockets like their chances, blazers stick with their investment in scoot so far.
limited how? he can score and pass. "He’s completely useless to a team that wants to win"...................this is not a good statement as everyone wants to win and he has had so many winning seasons
He can't shoot and doesn't defend. For him to be effective/useful, you have to run stuff for/through him, otherwise what does he do? When i say useless to a team trying to win i mean like win/compete for a title. He's certainly useful if your goal is to be a low level playoff team.
Shooting is not just threes........he is amazing at the midrange shot. you didn't say threes. you said shooting. I posted his overall FG percent. distance shooting is overrated when rating if a player can shoot or not.
Cam+Brooks+Uncle Jeff+2025 Phoenix first+ future first for Durant. Landale+2 2nds for Olynyk Sengun/Adams/Olynyk Amen/Smith Durant/Eason Green/Tate FVV/Holiday
Daryl needs to be fired, after that I think you push in all of the chips for Maxey. Two of Reed/Cam/Jabari + 4 or 5 first round picks. This guy is single handedly carrying this terrible team that will go nowhere, just turned 24 years old a few months ago and would fit in perfectly. They could trade Embiid to get more assets and rebuild relatively quickly. They will have to have PG be their tank commander.
We could really use one of these stars highly experienced with deep playoff runs. Avoid OKC's fate of looking so inexperienced in the playoffs last season. Durant for Brooks and 2-3 picks is the move. I'm telling you. They could be sitting on 6 picks and a base of: Richards Dunn Brooks Booker Beal/Tyus We could be sitting on (by summer) 4 picks, a swap or two and: Sengun/Jabari/Vet Min FA or RWIII for one protected FRP Durant/Jabari/Tari Amen/Tari/Nate Williams Green/Whitmore FVV/Sheppard That's a title contender for at least the next 2.5 years with 4 FRP's in the pocket and financial situation under team control. Come on now. Don't sneeze at that. We looked really good against the Cavs. It's been over half a season. However you think about it, we should either lock in this seed or go for the king (OKC/DEN). Durant's contract expires perfectly in time to make way for new contracts. FVV will be overtaken by the youth in less than a year. If we fork over the second rounders or protected FRP for RWIII (since we'd have to lose Adams in the Durant deal), I would take us in any series in the playoffs this season. That's a terrifying team on both sides of the ball. You can't stop us from playing defense. You can't pack the paint or slow it down against us, that favors Durant heavily. In 2.5 attempts we seriously might win a title if the kids keep improving. That's worth a few carefully selected picks imo. Oh well. Let me dream I don't want to hear about risk.
