Part of me really wants to see how weird he would have to get for his followers to reconsider their devotion. Like if he goes full Howard Hughes, will that make people back off their adoration? Or would we start seeing posts about the moral benifits of abandoning hygine and becoming a hermit and breaking off codine syringes in your legs? I know some of these fans were aligned with him on the race stuff before hand and a bunch more are fans specifically fans because of it, but I have to imagine there are some people who are embracing those views who would not have otherwise because they innocenty decided they liked Tesla's cars a few years back. Whatever I think of Elon, he isn't stupid and he doesn't do things without a reason. He isn't just stumbling around from one accidental racist gaffe to the next accidental racist gaffe.
They are not a Neo Nazi party. I don't like their fringe who are VERY questionable, but most of the people who vote for that party are far from "Neo Nazis". However, we already know that from the perspective of extreme leftists, everyone looks like a Nazi.

I think there are a lot of 50-80 year old men who grew up hearing that Nazis are evil and during the past decades are trying to cope with the fact that many Nazi ideologies are shared by the American right/libertarian movement and for a lot of these people in this group, being a coward b**** and masking it with bad humor is their coping mechanism. You ain't going to read this I guess so
