Celtics look awful tonight. Bricking wide open 3s and free throws, bad fouls, turnovers. Hope they look this bad when the Rockets play them on Monday.

Lu Dort is dirty as hell. Draymond-like moves.

They’re going to give SGA MVP due to narrative but Jokic is having one of the greatest seasons in memory. If he genuinely wanted to he could probably challenge MJ’s PPG.

It's not narrative, they are both having a fantastic season. You are right, Jokic is having one for the ages, but there really isn't a wrong a choice between those two players.

Hahaha that was not dirty, players are grabbing each other more than ever and to go around screens they touch the screener all the time. It’s why I hate how screens are set nowadays too, since players can literally just grab someone or even hold him, like Malone used to do. It’s not just on screens either. Look at Allen before Sengun receives the ball, scores and then shoves Allen. That was simply to get the guy off of him as he was held for a long ass time.

The MVP race is between two men, SGA and Jokic. Jokic should win by sheer individual production. SGA has team success on his side.

In a realistic, keep this season in a bubble style vote, Jokic would win in a landslide. It would not be close. He's just so much better (and more entertaining, IMO). And the Nuggets likely finish second or third in the West.

SGA would be a worthy winner in most other years. So him winning it because of Jokic fatigue ain't that bad. MVP voting is fickle.

It's too bad Jokic isn't really challenged in this league. Would have been nice to see him in the 90s against all of those centers.

Any way we can start a 2025-2026 NBA discussion thread? I would like to discuss how great the Rockets are doing then.

We broke them. Now they can't beat even the lowly Philly.

It is blown wide open to the extent that someone like Yves Missi could run with it.
