I never claimed any of what you said as fact. I re-posted speculation from Twitter during a developing situation. The thread is there. You can re-read it.

 

Yes. You lacked the courage to make that definitive statement, all the while pushing false tweets and garbage as if it had a place in the conversation of reasonable people.

But you are correct. You never had the fortitude to say you really believed it.

You posted photos of the broken windows pretending they showed they were evidence against the idea that it was what it was. You posted police statements which you then adopted the wrong interpretation of, you posted all kinds of bias crap about something the attacker did decades ago, pretended that some freelance work the attacker did showed he was a leftist.

You did all of that because it fed your disdain of people on the left and fit in with your bias.

You never acknowledged the crap you posted was wrong, nor did you have backbone to admit what you were doing or that you believed it. You never posted any of the evidence correctly showing the attacker was a mentally ill person who hated Pelosi in line with right-wing media.

I saw it as blatant right-wing propaganda and assumed most people did too. I figured you were part of that right-wing propaganda machine—not necessarily as an individual, but as part of a broader group phenomenon. Musk sharing it definitely helped amplify it, as people who share similar views to Musk or trust him likely think that if he's sharing it, it must have some credibility.
