Cavs have the best record and are the best shooting team in the NBA
    • #1 in the NBA in: eFG%, 3FG%, & TS%
And we just beat dat azz without Jabari, with Tari still rusty, a cooled off Jalen and a few BS calls

It's possible that Tari's foul actually won us the game. If that 3 goes in, we probably lose.

Rewatching this how crazy is it Amen just manhandled D Mitch in the 4rth?

Amen has got to be one of the best, if not the best point of attack defender in the league. Its scary how good he is for a 21 yr old.

Obligatory reminder of what the Warriors got away with during their run.

Got tired of posting this many Donkey Kung Fu moves, plenty more I didn't, but you guys get the point. And before the Warriors, there was San Antonio.

But keep believing the NBA doesn't favor certain teams if you want.

Listen man, this team is good... can be scary good.... but they keep getting in their own way.

So many sloppy turnovers and miscues on the glass kept the Cavs in it all the way to the end.

We had a chance at one point to go up 16-18 points on them but we let them back in the game.

Ime should be run away coach of the year when this thing is said and done. The way he keeps these guys ground and in every game is a testament to his style and success.

JG and Alphie need to up their game and keep it there if we are going to make any real noise when the lights get bright.

Oh btw, ADAMS is the most underrated addition to this team.

FVV ending the 21-4, 19-0 run with two 3’s in a row to tie it and give them life again. Adams was a beast on the boards. Alpi with some clutch FT’s. And a flagrant foul at the end to somehow benefit the Rockets!

Okay, now that was completely unnecessary, but I knew it was coming. When we were up 4-6 points, we kept making silly mistakes, playing 1-on-1, and it’s clear we have no clue how to run an offense late. It’s like the brains freeze or something. Ime just stands there, guess he’s of the Phil Jackson school of thought where he lets guys play through it.

I like that the refs allowed us to play, HOWEVER, they called some bullshit on some of those ticky tack things that were just frustrating. How can you expect players to know what you’re going to call. So couple of calls I want to address:

    1. Correct non-call on our challenge of Mitchell on Amen.
    2. Sengun shoving Allen should’ve been an and-1 so bad call.
    3. Time-out called, Tari spikes the ball, gets a T? Bullshit, play was dead
    4. Flagrant on Tari? Bullshit, he simply jumped at him, as dumb as it was. Bad call.

Now that being said, Tari was doing some dumb **** - alley oop completely botched - and missing lay-ups again that he needs to cut the **** out. It’s bad enough we have Brooks just fouling randomly, we don’t need another one. If we would’ve lost due to Tari jumping at Garland, I would’ve given him an earful as Ime since he also cost us with that dumb ball spike. There was no reason to be pissed at that point, even if it’s a bullshit call.

For the rest, happy with our bench play and Amen was amazing on defense once again. Glad FVV provided the offense where Green is back to being a below average player. Adams was also a godsend with those long arms, the one handed rebounds were glorious. Glad Sengun kept playing through the contact, but that lazy just flip it there hoping it goes in needs to be cut out of his system. It rarely if ever goes well.

Brooks leaving Garland wide open after being turned around and then looking at teammates? Disgusting! That was 107-105 for them after that. I am kind of done with Brooks and glad he was little involved on offense. Amen is a better version of him right now so when Jabari comes back, bench his ass for all I care. Also both Green and Sengun lunging at Garland in the 4th, looked like they jumped into each other, sending him to the line for a 3 was stupid as well.

There was no reason for the game to be this close and so happy Cam brought that energy, even if that silly going for a steal cost us 3 key points and all night we just doubled and went aggressive at drivers and their stars, leaving up very good 3pt shooters WIDE open with nobody close to them. That cannot happen, even if by design. Still all in all, was happy for most of the game, even with our mistakes because our defense was very good. Just need to work on that offense, because if we turn up with this then good luck winning even 3 games against anyone.

Also, for the love of God, can we please figure out how to consistently attack a ****ing 2-3 zone??? That 7 minute scoring stretch made my eyes bleed.

Tari is our oldest of the core and probably the lowest iq. Overall iq of this team is average at best and that mostly because of FVV and then Adams. Would throw uncle Jeff in there but he plays sparingly.

Sometimes I see this team struggle with certain elastics of the game and get frustrated with their development. Entry passes, playing against zones, playing solid defense in critical situation. Sengun fell for ball fake agaisnt Jarrett Allen j the paint that had him looking mown the dunkstronaut. And Hollins made the same comment I was thinking. Why are you leaving you feel for for Allen when you have good position. Make him shoot over you. It lil things like that bother me..

That’s why I give Green so grace because that defense on Garland at the end was textbook square up defense. Jsut square up and play solid defense and if they beat, you tip your hat

So what, we were missing Jabari whose midrange game would have destroyed that zone.
