The turnovers concern me more from Jalen than the missed shots. I hope the letting him run point guard posts stop, that’s not a strength of his and it hurts the team.
If Jalen plays well in the next few games, I will confidently say that he is no longer the Jalen of old. If he goes into a 5 game cold stretch…I dunno what I’d say but I’d probably find some justification for it Either way, he’s earned my optimism for the next few games—and I hope he proves me right!!
Jalen should continue the process that brought him success. I can live with some missed shots. I have been clamoring with a Aaron Holiday replacement.
He had a great defensive stop tonight at one point, and it looked like he gave good effort on defense the rest of the night as well. Some frustrating turnovers in crucial moments, but stuff happens.
There is no such thing as Jalen of Old, everyone progresses but we should not expect a messiah, only a hungrier player. Also these jinx Chapters always work! Lol people never learn.
I don’t believe in jinxes if a player is good, we can say he’s good and he’ll still be good. If he plays poorly after we say he’s good, then he was never that good to begin with
Jalen had a great steal on Garland at the end of the game. The Cavs are a good, disciplined defensive team and the zone defense gave everyone on the team issues. In the 2nd quarter he had a handful of drives where he didn't get the foul call which led to a good amount of his misses, he probably got frustrated after that and then stopped driving and his shot was off.
Yeah, in case of Green, his fundamentals were piss poor but his scoring was always supreme. Now he improved, people have flaws, his flaws were just pretty big. And when he has an off game, he has like 9 or 10 points......
I dont like raw athletic and low basketball iq players, so Jalen is not my one of favourite players. I li But before throwing Jalen into fire after one slump game, we should be calm and observe,it is not accurate to say he is back to old Jalen after one match. Cavs is NBA's best team right now, let's wait for the following matches.. His effort on defense deserves recognition. Alpi and Jalen are so young players, at this stage of their career, it is not strange that they have up and downs.
