FVV's 7-12 from 3PT won the game. Uncharacteristically, he led the team in TOs with 6, including 2 or 3 late in the 4th - don't think he'll do that again.

 

it wasn't just him. the whole perimeter squad allowed a lot of rebounds.

I was looking forward to Sengun having to face both Allen and Mobley. He needs those tests. We are lucky af to pull out a win. We should have made a lineup change at the beginning of that 19-0 run. And Tari made some really boneheaded plays. Green was almost completely absent outside of a major defensive stop.

6 guys in double figures is nice.

And the guys not in double figures strategically didn’t try to shoot but did their role: Brooks, Adams, Tate.

Me neither, but that's not where we're at yet tbf. I'd be thrilled to just be playing against OKC in the WCF or Cleveland in the Finals. Two years ago today we were one of the bottom 3 teams in the NBA.

 

Ime deserves COY easy, but COY award basically marks u for death these days so I won’t mind if another coach receives that tainted trophy

Tbh, I understand them, I would also be pissed if I were them. But it was a good call.

 

This game was one of the most physical I have ever seen, refs didn’t call any offensive player initiated contact tonight and the players were struggling to adjust on both sides.

I think it’s the right way to officiate games, hopefully this is a point that the league is trying to implement.

even without mobley, they got offensive rebounds at will. i can't imagine what it will be like when they have both allen and mobley.

I think they forced a deflection but the Cavs retained possession. Still, shows that our two “stars” aren’t afraid to go after it on defense. The intensity on that end is night and day from the Silas years, and you’ll always be in position to win if you work hard on D.
