Star wars sucks because the industry is run by people with MBAs rather than creative talent resulting in a desire for perpetual growth to satisfy shareholders resulting in these studios having to always play it safe and regurgitate the same IPs over and over and over and over.


Marvel content sucks now because we are tired of the same slop. Studios are afraid of creating new ips because that is bad for short term investors in a publicly traded company.


Your addiction to this culture war bs is working as a distraction to ignore the capital brain rot of these publicly traded companies managed by finance people rather than creative people.

 

Corporate executives would rather you b**** about wokeism than labor practices, converting companies known for engineering talent like GE or creative talent like Disney being taken over by MBA frat bros.

The outrage you have for wokeism is an easy thing for these NBA frat bros to convert your hate into praisde by throwing some red meat at you with right wing politics in the future with their new movies that doesn't require any creative talent. They don't care. They just want to increase shareholder returns.


But what happens if people like you complain about the core structure of how these companies are gutted out and turned into glorified finance companies? Then suddenly these MBA frat bros feel threatened with their place in society.

Think for a second if you are a corporate executive at Disney answering to shareholders. Would it be easier to satisfy a angry customer base to reverse stock trends for you company if you convinced them the reason why they suck is because of wokeism or would it be easier to change the mind of customers if they believe the problem with these corporations like Disney is that they gutted the companies leadership with MBA frat bros instead of creative talent?

Think about how easy it would be for you to be back on bored with Disney. One movie ******** on trans people and you would be "Disney quit wholeness, I'm back on bored".

I'm being played for a fool because I demand entertainment be entertaining and not be politically motivated? A CEO is in relief that it is easier to make content that is not left leaning nor right leaning because that's the best way to make money? Well, I hope so..... I don't care that Disney makes money, if they put out a good product they should make money. If they put out a $hit product they shouldn't make any money. This is how things have worked since the very beginning of any industry.

The issue is that higher ups and delusional woke actors decided to use their platform for identity politics and the woke agenda, it viciously crept into the characters, scripts, visuals, plots etc.... The focus left cinematography and story telling in exchange for political stances and awareness.

I don't just simply not watch something because its particularly woke, I pass on said content because I know the focus was not the story or cinema that I'm consuming but nearly watching a story and plot catered and carefully constructed around an agenda and message from some ahole up top or group of aholes up top and actors alike.

I don't care that an artist is a Democrat or a Republican.... I don't want conservative views in my Alien, Jurassic Park or Star Wars as much as I don't want a race/gender swapped beloved character.
