I think Cade and Green are likely the best 2 players from the past two drafts. I posted this on reddit 3 years ago. I choose the wrong Rocket.
I was high on KPJ during the rebuild. Thought he could be a great combo guard / 6th man Was was right on Amen though. I have a long list of receipts saying he’d be the best player in the draft over Wemby. Y’all wanted Scoot bad
"X team that wasn't good last year came out of nowhere to be good! How is possible?" Pundits literally every year
Anyone who can even reasonably correctly predict the future of something that can be gambled on, is at least a multi-millionaire and is keeping the methodologies and results secret.
Everyone who could reasonably correctly predict the future, was definitely involved with lobbying for legalized sports gambling in the US the whole time. Illuminati confirmed!
Scoot has looked great lately. It looks like at some point he will be a great player in the nba for a long time.
It makes me angry still how right I was about that trade. I'll never forget where I was sitting (Boomerjacks grill) and saw the Woj Bomb and freaked out. Everyone around me was like "Who TF just died?" What a stupid trade.
You can go back and people were positive on the Silas signing...... I mean it is good to be positive for sure. Or in your case negative.
Only one that had me scratching my head about a relevant player was the Bari was KD 2.0 comparison... All the others were just humorous to read
I've got a lot of these but don't have links readily available to dunk on myself or anything like that. But I thought Reed would be a big positive contributor this year, I thought the rockets were a play in team, I wanted to trade Jalen Green, and I thought Sengun would be an all star.
In fairness no one really knows much about assistants without any experience as a HC. We just have to go by reporting fluff which is pretty much always positive. It probably should've been at least a little bit of a red flag though that as a twenty year assistant he'd been on the staff of like 1 good team. 75% of the board liking the Russ trade though...
