Netanyahu has praised Trump for emphasizing it’s just a temporary ceasefire. Israel can and likely will resume the bombing under a Trump administration after the hostages are returned. There will be zero resistance to it and a blank check for whatever weapons they ask for. At the same time, settlement expansion will rapidly increase in the West Bank, as it did under the last Trump administration. I can’t for the life of me understand how anyone would think Trump was the better candidate for a 2-state peaceful resolution. Granted, the chances of it happening under any administration was remote, but Trump has no interest in the rights of Palestinians.

The reality is that most Muslims do not like the people posing as "Palestinians". Yeah, many of them share a dislike of Jews, but for most, especially the more educated Muslims in the USA, that takes a backseat to issues which are closer to their heart and wallet. If you think evangelical Christians are socially conservative, the average Muslim will be much more 1950s in that regard (and more). They want a government that is tough on crime, puts family first and promotes more traditional social values. tl;dr, they got turned off by the woke freak show more than anyone else. "Queers for Palestine" is not something the average Muslim voter wants to see.
