Don't even want anything back. The reward is that he's gone.

I'm curious what kenyon looks like with a new OL coach. How can a guard who was drafted THAT high just completely suck, it seems impossible.

He can run block.... he is just ATROCIOUS at pass blocking.

A FRP should be able to do both.

Out of all the teams in the playoffs the Texans had the least amount of weapons for their QB to throw too. Look at the TE's

    Philly- Goeddert
    Rams Higbee, Parkinson
    Chiefs Kelce, Gray
    Bills Knox, Kinkaid
    Ravens Andrews, Likely
    Texans Schultz, Irv Smith

We wont even go into the WR's, but you've got a bad issue if Hutch is your WR2.

Ryans hasn't benched Ward, Ward has been injured when he hasn't been in the lineup.

Except our offense looked like crap even when we had all our weapons at the beginning of the season.

I can see NFL people have much different opinions of the job Slowik has done this year compared to fans on this MB. Ever ask yourselves why this is the case. Are the people who do this for a living so dumb that they're considering Slowik for a HC job?

They really didn't look that bad against the Colts, Bills, Cowboys, Lions etc...

    A couple things here…

Are you saying the people who do this for a living always get it right? Rhetorical.

I appreciate you sticking up for Slowik, but does he truly seem like a leader of men? I don’t see it.

They dont always get in right, but at least 2 different orgs of professionals are considering him. Funny thing is last year at this time teams wanted to interview him and the MB was in a panic over losing Slowik. I dont think he forgot how to coach in a years time and this is more of a talent issue than anything else. BTW, I'm not against bringing in a new more experienced OC.

Against the bills they almost blew a 17 point second half lead and couldn't score a TD in the 2nd half.

Against the Lions they were shut out in the 2nd half. Couldn't even score a field goal in a game they lost by 3

Dont care that they looked good against bad trans like the cowboys and colts.

Also Rex Ryan has madE an AFCCG game as a HC. How many Texans HC's have accomplished this? You may not like him but he's a legitimate candidate.

There are failed head coach hires every season (a lot of them one and done now). There are failed drafted QB’s every season.

All the people making those decisions “do so for a living”.

Slowick would do well in a situation where he brings in veterans to coordinate. Or if somebody is willing to come in here and be that offensive assistant. Either way, he desperately needs somebody with experience to help him reach his optimal version of himself.

You obviously dont remember the open TD throws that were missed in the 2nd half of those games.

Every team has those. They still score better than we do.
