And not too long ago it was Jalen Green. Just gets to show you DD’s player assessment.

someone is rehashing ideas from the echo chamber with his friend who has been saying that for years

if they keep saying it for a few more years, they might be right, eventually

If we're fair.....and that's not common around here, not long ago, Jalen WAS most likely to be traded.

If you look at his numbers from the start of the season to 9 games ago

    19.4 points per game
    31.6% from 3
    40.8% FG%
    52.8% TS%
    O-rating 104
    D-rating 109

Those are not the numbers of a keeper SG in his 4th season.

A lot can change in 8 games.

    The 8 games since

    30.8 points per game
    51.3% from 3
    54.1% FG%
    70.4% TS%
    O rating 140
    D rating 120

For 8 games, Jalen has been playing at an MVP level.

I would be surprised to see any trades unless it's Tate or Jock for a 2nd rd picks.

Maybe they'd move Holiday or Adams if someone gives them a great offer. But, Holiday is on a cheap deal and Adams can likely be re-signed on a cheap deal. Even Jeff Green could probably stay next year on a vet min deal.

The thing is...with Jalen playing great, there's just no minutes for another rotation guy unless we're upgrading our starting PG. We're basically covered at the wings and center position.

I think they would consider trading Tate more than anyone just to do him a solid. He's good enough to be a rotation player on someone's team, just not this team.

But, I think it's possible nothing happens. Stone really seems to value distancing the organization from Morey's old mentality of treating everyone as assets. He values locker room presence and team chemistry over getting that protected Celtics 2nd rd pick in 2028.

I liken it to Sabonis in Indiana. I would prefer a Myles Turner type but I would prefer to keep Sengun to see how he plays in the Playoffs.

I can't take anyone seriously who would prefer Turner to Sengun.

Agree. Man I hate to give up on Cam. I only let Cam or maybe even Tari go if it nets me a Fox, KD, Booker.

I don’t think there is a single player available I consider giving up 2 FRPs for.

If Buckets is an option FVV or Dillion have to go and maybe 1FRP but not next years top 12 pick.
I think this should be the plan for anyone they bring in.

Also wanna keep Adams for playoffs. Can spell Alpi for 7-10min per game and enforcer/protector!

Agreed. This young core hasn't even sniffed the playoffs yet. Why would they make any major changes without knowing what they have?

This off season will be the first one after a long rebuild before finally reaching the playoffs. Expect tweaks to be made then, especially with Fred most likely not returning.

He just runs away....too quick to touch him and catch him in a net to trade.

I know you personally aren't intelligent enough to understand, but Jalen Green is a player on the Rockets and I'm a Rockets fan.....and that player has played like an MVP caliber player the last 8 games, so that makes him a topic of conversation.

If you ate less lead paint as a child, you'd understand.

Probably no trades, and why would they even want to trade Tate or Jock? Neither would bring back much. Both players provide veteran depth, we’ve already seen Tate step in since Jabari went down. Jock isn’t a great player, but if Adams or Sengun goes out then he would be getting minutes. Adams is a free agent after this season, so they may want to keep Jock around.

Bad news for a lot of people - Brooks is not going to the bench or being traded

Jalen is that one tech stock that promises to take off and make you rich, but every time it shows signs of breaking out it weirdly stumbles.

You just know, as soon as you sell it's going to take off.
