It’s a case study in the job market for content creators and advertisement in the modern era. Careful about dedicating yourself too much to one single social media platform for relaying your message or getting your content out. Feel bad for many of the creators whose livelihoods are thrown through a loop but honestly they should have had business sense to diversify their distribution. My guess is Trump probably tries to play nice next week and has a few meetings where it looks like he’s close to a deal but there’s just no way on earth Elon or Zuck let Trump just straight up put TikTok back online. This is really the only short term solution those two guys have for growth in the short term. They either will require stake in the app or a hostile takeover. What Trump wants is approval and messaging that Trump is the messiah so he only cares about the app coming back live with all the key creators singing his praises and the algorithm turning the platform into pure propaganda. So TikTok might come back but it’s never going to be the same app and we have a real problem on our doorstep with monopoly, corruption, and propaganda that is destroying our free society. Hope you guys really like what you see with Russia because it’s looking like we aren’t that far away from essentially being mirror images of each other… just with hurricanes and forest fires.

I will say the one thing I will miss and still might use if the app comes back is the tik tok shop which had great “don’t know what to get your dad for Christmas” random crap. That’s one reason why I think Bezos might actually be the dark horse here to lead the charge to bring the app under his umbrella. But again you see the conflict here because the three douchebag horseman and Trump…Elon and Musk just want the app gone because it drives traffic to their garbage apps. Bezos wants the app back online but with the retail business under his umbrella to profit off of. Trump wants the app turned back on but as a Trump propaganda outlet. Tik Tok and its creator just want it back on as fast as possible and will promise just about anything to anyone. Hard to see the big three D’s not going to battle with each other and eventually Trump over this one.
