Texans are first for alot of things this year. Most turnovers created but still lose a game, 5+ sacks in a game but still lose, etc.
Nah its maddening to me no other QB gets the calls he gets. I've seen Stroud get harder hits in one game than Mahomes all season because every defender knows you can't hit him too hard or flags will come out and he knows it. That's what I hate, he knows it, so he's flopping all over the place, looking up at the refs when he is hit, and fake runs out of bounds and late slides knowing that he puts the defenders in a difficult position to let off at the last second. If he was just playing straight up and the refs were still babying him it would be tolerable but at this point its like he and the refs are in on it together.
The two big Kelce plays, the touchdown and the 49 yard catch. I really don’t understand the argument. He WAS in position, coverage in the middle of the field, looks like something confused him, and both times he opted to vacate his coverage in the middle of the field and go try to cover something he saw in the flat. It has absolutely nothing to do with injury or ability or anything, he just needed to stay where he was and didn’t.
Lol, you better mean the Rockets or else you're going to be very disappointed rooting for a Doc Rivers led team in the playoffs kiddo.
We knew going into this game, man, that it was 'Us vs. Everybody' and when I say everybody — it's everybody."
The TD looked like he tried to turn back and couldn't. If you remember the play, Mahomes was d@mn near on the way to the ground when the ball came out. Does that mean Azeez should have stopped on the play? Heck no. But pretty much everybody thought Mahomes was going down for a sack on that play. That was legit one of the best (legit) plays Chiefs made all game and it happened to be a TD. The big catch play was IMHO was Kelce being Kelce. Dude has been an All-Pro for a reason. Once again, CHRISTIAN HARRIS was listed / employed as our coverage LB for a reason.
Special Teams matter. It helped the Texans blow out the Chargers last week. It made this game an uphill battle.
Fairbairn low key might have cost us the game. Couldn't kick it into the end zone on kick off which cost us 65 yards. Missed a FG. Missed a PAT which arguably sucked the energy from the team. The defense became flat after that and gave up a TD. Just saying. Both chiefs TDs came directly after Fairbairn fk ups
