Rockets handled their business very well. When a team is missing their best player, you should not only win, but it shouldn't be competitive if you're a contender.

128 is Denver's season-high points allowed.

- Jalen is on a crazy efficiency streak
- Amen is a young Pippen
- 5-game winning streak

With one of the league's best defenses, Rocket's shooting 3PT efficiently should equal an 80% win clip regardless if Jokic, Morant, Greek, or anybody else plays or doesn't play..

 

First day as a sports fan? The Milwaukee Bucks laugh at the Rockets. And Wisconsin clowns any college basketball program in Texas.

This game was very entertaining and we had several times where we could’ve let up and we have in the recent past, but finally we didn’t. The Nuggets fought and I respect how they handled themselves, showed love to Jeff Green and Westbrook interaction with the bench was priceless. There were several plays and instances I really appreciated:

1. Cam’s response to getting dunked on, it didn’t faze him and he immediately got one back but in the flow of the offense rather than forcing it like Maxwell used to do. Then he got his dunk back right after by playing defense alongside FVV and got the steal.
2. Cam showing Sengun not to go up all soft and laying it flat on the rim.
3. Sengun going to the stepback after forcing all these soft shots and floaters.
4. Adam’s pass to Amen for the dunk, he’s been having a few of those lately.
5. Jeff Green being in with the bench brigade late to be a steady presence and Nate Williams showing he can be a Tate like guy with some trees, his length on defense etc.

FVV’s calm and collected way of picking his spots to get his shots lately is really admirable and whoever cannot see his positive influence and how he dictates the pace, then that’s on you. I was as frustrated with him early on in the season as others, but his steady influence has always remained and he’s very important to us. Especially seeing how Amen can still be too out of control and is getting defended more / tighter as a starter.

Green was again amazing and I really love this team, not yet to the 07-09 level, but probably around the level of the 17-18 team as we play a more attractive style of basketball, play defense and have way more likeable head honchos. What made this night even better is how the Mavs lost after the referees tried to give them a chance to tie it with that horrible call when Klay lost it out of bounds. Luckily they still had their challenge. And then only to lose it on a goaltending violation they didn’t see. Priceless!

P.S. WTF is problems with Americans and pronunciation?!!! Dennis Scott kept saying Senguin as if he’s a freaking pasta (Linguine). Green should’ve corrected his dumb ass. And also in the studio he actually says it’s as Senguine, dude….embarrassing.

Btw love me some Steve Smith who nails when he says before FVV Green was trying to do it all and now allowed to be in his natural position and not having to dribble 5-6 times, which Green ironically still does too often, yet he makes the shots now so it’s all good.

Oh and a second WTF moment from the Nuggets commentary after we got called for a foul: “Udoka has seen worse [physical play / touch] in the restrooms"…uhm excuse you?!!!

 

It opened at Kings -3 and it is now Kings -4.5

Again, one of these days you'll have to learn the basics about basketball and the factors that go into making or missing shots, until then, I'll just laugh at your infantile understanding of the game.
