Stone too it wasn’t just the drafting but the rebuilding game plan suck organically and draft BPA, I don’t like Tillman as a person but he made some excellent decisions with the Rockets FO. Rockets bball is back baby! Before the season I just wanted a play in appearance. No one imagined us being 2nd in the WC half way into the season
Totally agree, I am not on the same wave length with those people as well, I don't like a lot of stuff. However, they nailed most of the stuff going forward even with making big dumb mistakes like handing the team to KPJ at some point. And declaring Bruno Fernando a lob threat and making him a priority.....believing in Christian Wood etc. The NBA does give a lot of opportunities fast unlike Soccer so I am grateful and the Rockets took it/them.

Agreed dude we recovered so hard from Harden wanting out, the terrible Westbrook trade(Tillman’s son), prioritizing Christian Wood & KPJ, Stephen Silas days, etc can’t believe we even had Boogie and JWall running with a checked out Harden at one point. Glad that’s behind us. It was tough
Silas was necessary to tank. Its like chemotherapy you gotta die to live. Amen our highest ceiling player only happened cuz of Silas. Jabari too.
Rockets are now 9th in offensive rating and 3rd in defensive rating. They are IMO legit contenders, Rox are no 5 in Net rating but they're basically tied with Grizz and they just whupped the Grizz's asses so I think they are really the 4rth best team in the L behind OKC, Celts and Cleveland. real coach and real strategy play hard and physical on every possession on defense, every possession, disrupt/stop opponents from scoring on offense, every possession, move the ball, transition, select best shot, highest shot efficiency to minimize misses don't back down from opponents no excuses from players
