How do you think DEI candidate Lloyd Austin (who happens to be black) ran the DoD as the Secretary of Defense? He was AWFUL. At one point he disappeared and no one could even find him! Walked away from his post. He got a pass for being a DEI hire -- anyone else would have been fired for that dereliction of duty. What a horrible hire that we were stuck with for years -- at great cost to our country.

And he weakened our military. The threat of deterrence was lost and America's adversaries were emboldened to start wars, which they did.

So you might want to sit this one out, my friend.

How about we get a bunch of these do-nothing religious organizations to contribute? How many hundreds of billions of tax exempt money is sitting in these crooks' accounts?

Trump is about to be President of the United States. What is Trump going to do differently to protect states that he swore an oath to? What policies will Trump enact that will make California, Florida, Texas safer from Climate disasters?

And since Trump is currently pitching Canada and Greenland on becoming part of the USA (or threatening to annex), what will he do to manage those territories since they will be exponentially more expensive, and environmentally challenging to manage than even California??

Tell us what differently needs to be done or STFU trying to troll us into calling you a racist, sexist, bigoted POS. That's what you want. I don't want to give that to you. I want you to tell me WTF Trump is going to do differently. Because hiring a white skinned man vs a woman to run a firefighter department will do nothing to lower the temperature of the ocean, and re-grow the ice at the arctic circle.

If California is so bad, why doesn't Trump sell California, or allow California, Oregon, and Washington to become an independent country, or become part of Canada, Europe, or China???

I used to live there, had a home in OC once. I love California more than any other state in the union. The Democrats sure are destroying California, I had to flee along with other Californians that I knew.

He was awful. So whatever process identified him did not work. His poor performance makes you wonder whether his entire career was the result of DEI promotions and preferential treatment. You can have a great resume and still be a DEI hire.

 

You make up narratives about how someone was bad for the role without actually proving they were bad. You dont do evidence based claims. So there is no reason to believe you.

 

Also Austin the dude this guy was talking about was hospitalized for 3 days and no one knew. That's not a good look I admit. BUT its also more muddying the waters here as it seems like it was a communication issue.

You just want to hire unqualified people yourself. The govt isn't making you hire anyone. There is no law stopping you from hiring all your frat drunken frat bros as your employees.

 

No, that's the last thing I want to do -- why would I want unqualified people? I want highly qualified people on my team that are motivated. And if they are no good, I want to off ramp them quickly. Literally, that's all I want. This isn't controversial -- which is why Democrat policy positions are so absurd.

So your previous post said that I want to hire unqualified people myself. I responded to that, and easily shut you down. Now you've come back and addressed the Pete Hegseth nomination. Do you see how you were forced to move the goal posts because you couldn't defend your position? Very poor debate skills.

I am not in the process of hiring Pete Hegseth. Do I think he's the absolute best candidate for SecDef? Probably not, tbh. But I do think he'll be much better than DEI hire Lloyd Austin, who was catastrophic and incompetent... and significantly weakened our military. The other key point here is that bureaucrats in government (and in DoD) are planning to reprise their role as obstructionists... like they did during Trump 45. THAT is why loyalty is so important this time around -- so that our military is not undermined by radical partisan Democrats acting in bureaucratic roles. Once again, liberals push things too far and then they don't like the reaction. Actions have consequences. Accountability matters.
