Minorities by nature are unqualified to do powerful jobs cuz minorities shouldn't be in power. That's the core logic
    .

Doug Emhoff wasn't running for office or being appointed to a government position.

Pete Hegseth is asking to run a department in which his behavior would result in a court martial.

I think you can see the difference.
To his credit, he did ask one relevant question.

Yes, they signed up for the military, just like the dads did.

Just remember DEI only refers to colored people. White men by nature ar qualified for any job regardless of their resume.

Appointing the assistant fire chief as chief is, "DEI" but appointing a TV host with zero managerial experience to run a agency of 2+ million plus is, "based."

Its just crazy how a amazing country like Ameirca can be hijacked by illiterate dipshits

GOP is elevating a man with no defense nor national security experience to a role response for defending our nation against many threats and the GOP is willing to elevate a grossly unqualified person (while they rail against "DEI hires") all to please Trump.

    What. A. Joke.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you Lloyd Austin. Literally the worst SecDef the country has ever seen. We need to go in a completely new direction with leadership of the military. Bring back the warrior ethos and end the DEI-hiring, woke, weak leadership that put our military in a position where they can't pass a basic audit (6 failed audits in a row), has trouble recruiting, has an obvious image problem, and has weakened our standing abroad. What the heck am I even looking at below? Not a leader, that's for sure.

Candidate A: A man who commanded over 150K troops in Iraq - a lifelong military career and westpoint graduate.

Candidate B: A man who has managed nothing, appears on TV, and is an alcoholic and rapist.

You choose Candidate B. So much for "most qualified candidate" lol.

Hegseth = high IQ and has warrior ethos. Less experienced, but remember Swamp experience is actually counterproductive and a negative. We need an unconventional change agent to fix the mess that Biden/Austin made with our military. An outsider like Hegseth,
But also a war time veteran, is the right solution here.

He's never had a command position which shows that he lacked the IQ and leadership skills to really be anything. He's a pundit on TV. He has no gov't or private sector experience. Knowing how to use night vision goggles isn't qualifying.

So you know you are being silly. If this is the kind of mental gymnastics you have to go through to elevate a grossly incompetent white male while tarring the illustrious career of a well respected general by all - then you are proving yourself to be empty calories all along.

You are either being intentional with this, or you are even more scarily, completely unable to critical think for yourself. I hope it's the former for your sake.

Trump's Pick for Top Pentagon Health Care Job Was Fired by CIA

Keith Bass, President-elect Trump’s pick to run the Pentagon’s sprawling health care systems, was effectively fired by the CIA in 2021 for his poor management of the spy agency’s Office of Medical Services.

Bass was “pushed out,” two authoritative sources told SpyTalk, after fumbling the agency’s handling of Havana Syndrome, which the government calls Anomalous Health Incidents, or AHI. One of the sources familiar with Bass’s removal, speaking on terms of anonymity to discuss the sensitive issue, said the retired former naval officer “was removed” by CIA Director Bill Burns, “not for misconduct,” but because “OMS was being poorly run, and AHI just flushed it out." Numerous media reports in 2021 said the OMS chief was “pushed out” without identifying Bass by name.

Late last month, the Senate Intelligence Committee released a bipartisan report that blasted the CIA’s handling of AHI, the mysterious set of illnesses that have stricken scores of CIA, State Department and other government employees and their dependents, mostly overseas. The first cases were reported by officers stationed in Havana in 2016.

“Many individuals faced obstacles to timely and sufficient care," the report said, among many other missteps. Bass “offloaded" the handling of AHI to his deputies, one of the sources told SpyTalk.

"There was definitely dissatisfaction" with how he was running the OMS, but the problems "pre-dated Bass,” one of the sources said. Still, under his leadership, the OMS also badly handled the surge of Covid-19 cases afflicting the agency’s rank-and-file, the source added. Bass’s management was “messy” and compounded by “poor communications” and he “definitely poorly handled things.”

"Whatever you think about AHI,” the source said, acknowledging the deep and often bitter divide between victims and the intelligence agencies on the causes of the devastating illnesses, “it was poorly handled.” On Friday, the U.S. intelligence community reaffirmed its previous conclusion that it is “very unlikely” that a foreign adversary was responsible for AHI cases, although two of the agencies and some White House officials left open the possibility.

Yes. I know a few of them and they could surely beat the crap out of most MAGA online edgelord douchebags.

Hegseth repeated constantly this lie about quotas to try and tie in the whole DEI culture war crap which is nonsense if you know anything about the military. Do morons really think that men are being denied the ability to join the military in favor of women because of woke DEI?? That’s the dumbest thing I’ve heard in a long time and I’ve heard some douseys around here lately.

The lowering of physical standards has more to do with keeping in career military that want to make it to retirement so they can get full benefits. That’s what has happened over the years. Our system is setup to benefit the 20 year career instead of a 4 to 8 year service. Over 20 years you develop back, knee, and ankle problems so making it through your regular PT tests to ensure combat readiness.

People that know anything about basic (boot camp) know that it’s mostly mental, and there’s no benefit in being a beefy dude who can bench 350. It’s all about your ability to withstand discomfort and how you can operate under stress while you haven’t slept and have been pushed all day. If you are in shape, have no major injuries, and have the mental fortitude any woman that wants to can get through basic and probably has a way better chance at making it through than some edgelord whose only military experience is playing Call of Duty.
