If you're in H-Town, I think you made the right call not to bother, such a rare freak thing. If you're somewhere more north/west in Texas that actually does get occasional winter storms, I can recommend Nokian's Remedy All-Weather tires next time you get a change. They're three mountain peak snow rated but they're suitable for year-round use as well. They've done a great job for us up here in Colorado.
Oooooh no it's back on like Donkey Kong wearing a Red and Mustard colored thong. Apache got you covered. I don't know the outcome, but let's get the popcorn ready, pull up a chair, and let's get ready to rumble-doolski this nit-flic!! Go Rockets!! ...and Texans
Driven in snowy and icy conditions in Colorado, Virginia, Northern Japan, Europe, and Texas. Black ice is no joke, you did the right thing.
Wow, graphics of game action hasn't improved much since the 1980's? And how fake, Jalen doesn't miss that many 3's and Sengun doesn't miss that many free throws. Amirite?
The whole roadway was frozen over, the only way to stop was going to neutral and feathering the brakes
New game is Tuesday, January 28 Rockets play at Boston the night before on the 27th Hawks play at Minnesota the night before on the 27th
Looking at the forecast, the weather may be worse that night than the day it was originally cancelled.
Same here all through the country. Worst was Seattle with the hills and weather. Atlanta like Houston has a history of not getting that cold, just below freezing so you don't get dry snow. You get sleet. Seattle had both but mostly sleet with freezing rain so you get the ice that you have no traction on and just slide all over the place and even backward. Its very dangerous in an environment where people have no experience with the weather.
