Double big are dirty words here because of Silas era. Yea Cavs used it to beat a contender in Thunder. Scheme matters some, but it's really the personnel. Theis and Fernando are not the same as Mobley and Allen. When we played the Celtics, Sengun even had issues against C's double combo of Korner and Querta. Scheme is definitely viable situationally. There are different ways to build a winning team.
Malik Beasley has been amazing for the Pistons, 2nd in the league in made 3’s this season in only 28 mpg on a 6 mill contract. I remember we were rumored to have interest in him not too long ago. Boy could we have really used a cheap volume sharpshooter like that. Rockets will have their full MLE to work with next year, Beasley and Brogdon are two guys that seem interesting.
