Bigs traditionally take longer to develop, this could be part of the issue. 6'11" is a giant human being to be running up and down the court.

Remember, he is only 6'7, with alligator arms.

Sengun has to put more physical effort every possession to get position, to push his man down etc. not an excuse, it is his position and he needs to condition himself up to it. It will happen.

Yeah it's just another thing to watch for in his development. Not a lot of players are good enough that this is a concern. There's both the physical and mental side of it. Obviously just increasing his physical conditioning will give him more gas in the tank, and those benefits are obvious. But no matter how good the conditioning is, every single player has to pace themselves and pick their spots. Nobody can go 100% the entire game and be fresh for crunch time. Sengun is a smart player so I think he'll figure this out, but there's a reason you don't see MVP candidates diving on the floor for loose balls in the first quarter. It's a marathon not a sprint and I think that's the next thing he needs to figure out.

Kelly Iko has come around, more so than certain others. Even though it sounds like it pains him a bit to say it lol.

But remember double teams and triple teams are not real and don't really matter from a center

Doesn't "contribute in multiple ways" though, @aelliott

Most game-planned for player on the Rockets by a wide margin.

Folks critique and act like it is normal for a 22 year old C to see this kind of attention. Give Tate credit, give JG credit, but don’t forget who is facilitating a huge majority of these open looks with gravity and elite wizard passing talent. Guy is creating open looks for his teammates off the dribble from behind the three point line.

Even at Alperen’s worst he brings something that few can. He has the rare ability to make his teammates better, which is why Udoka rides him so hard even when the rest of us are pulling our hair out. Operation wait for 25 year old Alperen.

Team lead in +- widening. Y’all remember Clutch posting that in preseason with Fred and Steven Adams on top?

Thanks for posting the updated stats.

Our gracious host probably just hasn't gotten around to it yet. ;)

At least he uses stats. Some people think their eyes are perfect and nobody else is to be trusted but them.

    Full Update.

(Tate, Nate, Aaron obviously small sample size, almost like preseason...)
