The way I read his post is supposed to be a bit tongue and cheek. He knows correlation is not causation. Just maybe that the player has some potential and to keep an eye on.
It's REALLY hard to tell if he really does know that correlation is not causation and that his post really is tonged in cheek so I don't think we can make those assumptions without more evidence.
Reed has performed tremendously in his role lately. He is currently filling it up! The waters have never had a more perfect temperature and are measured with precision to reduce spillage. The towel waving per 36 numbers are out of this world.

He'd have had SOO many more assists if his teammates made more open shots. Also, his shooting numbers are skewed by him taking 4 "hot potato" shots as the shot clock or game clock was expiring. It was clear his focus last night was on being a true PG rather than just taking a million shots like was his focus in the first game.

You know Jalen Green shot 38% from 3 in the GLeague right? The reality is his shooting mechanics are horrible by NBA standards. He needs to fix them and hopefully GLeague will help with that.
