No he isn’t! Not until he fixes his dribbling. I need Jalen to take Curry’s dribbling masterclass. Once Jalen improves his ball handling and learns to protect the ball at all costs, he’ll be absolutely unguardable. Curry’s Masterclass: https://www.masterclass.com/classes/stephen-curry-teaches-shooting-ball-handling-and-scoring Jalen, if you’re reading this. Please take this course!
Who runs those Classes? It is part of the Controversial DEI program..... They even have Scientist Master Classes......
I'd agree he can get a little loose and 'street ball' with it at times with a high dribble, but overall he's sound. Some of his drives where he switches hands already in the motion of the continuation/shot are only possible because he has a strong dribble as he sets up defenders. edit: Did I fall victim to a chain meme?
he's stolen some of the SGA forearm shivers and bumps into the lane type moves... Jalen continues to throw little wrinkles into his game. i don't know the stats but i'd wager to think he's getting blocked at the rim considerably less than in previous seasons. Jalen's game is going to continue to blossom as he adds strength to his frame.
The man just needs to sign with Nike so he can get a respectable whistle. Watching Ja get free throws everytime he's breathed on was irritating. Wish Jalen for like half those calls.
On the bright side, it will benefit Jalen in the playoffs when the refs start swallowing their whistle because he’ll be used to playing like that.
11 FTs to 2 FTs is funny considering their similar styles. Notice Jalen standing up for himself more with officials so that's good at least.
if Jalen keeps averaging around 20ppg he will end up #13 on this list: https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/nba-most-total-points-made-by-nba-player-under-age-23
Finishing is better, less constested step back jumpers, and he’s finding balance with alpi on offense. Keep turning that corner
