If the Rockets only get 1 all-star should it be Sengun or Jalen?

I’m open to the idea that the metrics aren’t perfect and stuff, i just have a hard time with the idea that his midrange is better even if he’s shooting worse.

When did Jalen become allstar level player? With what consistency?
Alpi only of course, lt is not about one sided stats, lt is about affecting and dominating game, l dont see any coach, team doubling Jalen.but all teams game plan is on Sengun, doubling, trippling him,closing his passing lines.
Jalen can score 80 points a game but this does not make him allstar..

right now? Probably Sengun but I'm becoming more and more convinced Jalen will turn into a consistent all-star level player whereas Sengun will always be hampered by his slow footspeed on defense.

For years, Green is an inconsistent player.. ls'nt he?

Yeah, for that reasons whole NBA teams are doubling, trippling Sengun... Jalen type of inconsistent player can never be all star..
He has to.learn how to play structured basketball before becoming allstar..

 

Brah you understand teams blitz Green with Sengun's defender when he pops out on a pnr or dho right?

I mean both Sengun and Green literally had turnovers in crunch time because they got doubled.

Just to be accurate, Green is the 25th most double teamed player in the league this year. He was 20th last year and 18th the year before that.

Truthfully, the Rockets shouldn't have an all star this year. Both Sengun and Green have been near the bottom of the league this year in efficiency for their position.

As long as we remain near the top of the Western Conference, we will likely get an all star. If one of the two go on a tear between now and the selections, that may be the difference. The other factor will be the competion for the all star spots at their relative positions.
