I can only guess it's because he despises Democrats more, as does the other Libertarian who never has a bad word to say about anything Trump says or does. They aren't even MAGA folks, but they love siding with the MAGA trolls and spinning all the stories that steer away from the corrupt and grifting fraudster in front of their eyes. You know, the old man in the long red tie, and makeup caked on his face who portrays himself as the honest man, the man who cares about the middle class. It's just gross.

    Thery never believed those theories.
    They were just useful
They simply re-told them to irritate, ofuscate and distract

They didn't care. . . it is not about AMERICA winning
    only CERTAIN Americans winning . .. . . .
and to a greater extent .. . CERTAIN Americans losing

Can you imagine how insane MAGA would be going off right now if Hunter Biden had a case going in front of the Supreme Court in days asking his case to be dropped, or paused, and Biden not only made a call to Justice Kagan, but also talked about putting one of Kagan's clerks in a senior position in his administration at the same time???

It would be wall to wall breaking news outrage.

That's not really how the right wing ecosphere works (only contained to Fox). It is a propaganda machine that drives narratives across many forms of collective medias, and very quickly becomes water cooler talking points. It used to start with Rush Limbaugh's show in the mornings, and seep it's way into the conversation by mid-day. Now it seems to start from Trump or Elon's tweets.

Fox didn't win Trump another term. The larger propaganda and mind meld network did.

Maybe I’m just out of the loop or must’ve missed something, but why is the clown talking about taking over Canada, Panama, and Greenland all of the sudden?

he’s even declined to rule out using military action

seems so fcking random…Who was asking for this?

    What’s Behind Meta’s MAGA Makeover?
Mark Zuckerberg is positioning his company for a second Trump term — and revealing the hollow identity at its core.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2025/01/08/...ook-trump-mark-zuckerberg.html?smid=url-share

    excerpt:

Now, on the eve of a second Trump term, Mr. Zuckerberg is giving his company a full MAGA makeover.

In the process, he is also revealing that Meta — a shape-shifting company that has thrown itself at every major tech trend of the last decade, from crypto to the metaverse to generative A.I. to wearable computing — has a fundamental hollowness at its core. It is not quite sure what it is, or where its next phase of growth will come from. But in the meantime, it will adopt whatever values Mr. Zuckerberg thinks it needs to survive.

The most recent changes started before the election, when Mr. Zuckerberg — whose contributions to election integrity efforts in 2020 had led President Donald J. Trump to threaten him with lifetime imprisonment — called Mr. Trump’s recovery from an assassination attempt “badass.” But they have accelerated in recent weeks, after Mr. Trump and Mr. Zuckerberg met at Mar-a-Lago to mend fences.

Last week, Meta’s global policy chief, Nick Clegg — a former British deputy prime minister who was chosen for his centrist bona fides — was replaced by Joel Kaplan, a longtime Republican operative who has acted for years as Mr. Zuckerberg’s liaison to the pro-Trump right.

On Monday, Meta announced the appointment of three new board members, including Dana White, the chief executive of the Ultimate Fighting Championship and a close friend and political ally of Mr. Trump’s.

And on Tuesday, Mr. Zuckerberg — wearing a $900,000 wristwatchand an air of strained enthusiasm — announced in an Instagram Reel that Meta was replacing its fact-checking program with an X-style “community notes” feature. The company is also revising its rules to allow more criticism of certain groups, including immigrants and transgender people, letting users see more “civic content” in their feeds and moving its content review operations from California to Texas to avoid, he said, the appearance of political bias.

As the FTC chair just said on CNBC Meta is due to go to trial in April over their antitrust lawsuit over Instagram and WhatsApp. The government is arguring those acquisitions should never have been allowed to happen.

Watching tech bros bribe Trump bcz their businesses are being sued by the government isn't some complicated idea. It's the cost of doing business.

I just dont get why youre too dumb to connect the dots?

Some general advice: people will be at least a little more receptive to your arguments and explanations if you don't call them dumb at the same time.

Trump Should Withdraw U.S. Support for Corrupt U.N. Agencies
    By THE EDITORS
    January 9, 2025 6:30 AM

In an ideal world, the United States would withdraw its support for and participation with the United Nations General Assembly and many of its subsidiary organs while retaining its permanent seat on the body that at least reflects hard-power geopolitical realities: the U.N. Security Council.

But the perfect cannot become the enemy of the good. In lieu of a full-scale U.S. retreat from the UNGA, the Trump administration would do well to withdraw its imprimatur from some of the U.N.’s most corrupt and least effective institutions.

First on the chopping block has to be the U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, or UNRWA. Last year, Congress put a pause on the transfer of funds to that apparatus following the discovery that some of its employees supported or even participated in the October 7 massacre. “Any UNRWA employee who was involved in acts of terror will be held accountable, including through criminal prosecution,” said UNRWA commissioner-general Philippe Lazzarini last year. Despite the firing of nine implicated UNRWA workers last August, the agency has not reformed itself.

Obviously, U.S. taxpayers should not be on the hook for a bill run up by terrorists engaged in a genocidal campaign against Israeli Jews.

Congress’s pause on UNRWA funding expires in March, and the legislature should make it permanent. In addition, the Trump administration should work to convince America’s partners abroad to do the same.

UNRWA isn’t the only boil the incoming administration would do well to lance. In its first year, the Biden administration thoughtlessly recommitted the United States to membership in the United Nations Human Rights Council, an Orwellian congress in which the world’s worst human-rights abusers dictate terms to the West from a position of presumed moral authority. The outfit has been populated with some of the worst crackpots and conspiracy theorists, and its anti-Western orientation is matched only by its reliable antisemitism. The incoming head of Trump’s mission to the U.N., Elise Stefanik, should follow Nikki Haley’s lead and head again for the exits.

Likewise, Stefanik should take another page from Haley’s book and leave the U.S. out of the U.N. Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). In 2011, Congress cut funding to this institution in response to its decision to violate U.S. law and admit the Palestinian Authority to a position reserved for recognized states. When the organization doesn’t formally honor communist executioners like Che Guevara, it erases Israeli history by renaming the Temple Mount and the Wailing Wall and declaring Israel’s capital city to be an illegally occupied possession.

Defenders of the U.N.’s humanitarian bodies are quick to note that those outlets sometimes do good work. They promote charity, literacy programs, environmental conservation, and a variety of other philanthropic endeavors. But the notion that Americans must accept a little terrorism and virulent Jew hatred along with their charitable works imposes a false choice on American taxpayers.

Then, there are the U.N.’s peacekeeping operations. Take, for example, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). At roughly 10,000 troops, the U.N.-led mission to Southern Lebanon is one of the largest peacekeeping missions in the world. Not only has UNIFIL failed to achieve its objectives, it’s hard to see how the deployment has even attempted to fulfill its mission. United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701 forbids the presence of any armed personnel south of the Litani River save UNIFIL and the Lebanese army.

Neither Hamas, nor Hezbollah, nor the Palestinian Islamic Jihad has abided by this stricture. Indeed, following the October 7 attacks, the Islamist militias in Southern Lebanon rained rockets and artillery down on Israeli territory from areas supposedly under UNIFIL control. It was only when Israeli forces pivoted from the campaign against Hamas in Gaza to Lebanon nearly a year after the 10/7 massacre that those attacks were finally stopped.

While the United Nations does some valuable things, more capable and democratically responsive governmental organizations and NGOs could do them more effectively. Certainly, there are worthier recipients of U.S. taxpayer-provided largesse, ones that don’t require the moral compromises associated with membership in the U.N.’s most bigoted, incompetent, or subversive institutions.

Again. The million dollar question is what does trump do with the open litigation against big tech. Right now the government is attempting to break up amazon, sued meta, breaking up Google after winning at trial, has sued ticketmaster to break up the liv nation merger.

If trump keeps all of them open and continues bidens anti trust policies hell have my respect honestly. If he drops them then he's corrupt and everyone should admit it.

Corporate america will write him any amount of check.
