That tweet and video seem rather contradictory, showing massive pollution and toxic emissions and then calling it an imaginary issue. Honestly, I am surprised and disappointed in your stance on this issue. One has to be blind, ignorant, disingenuous or a complete moron to deny that humans are poisoning the Earth at an alarmingly massive rate over the last century on so many different levels.
Well those toxins are about to be greater once those billionaires get Trump to cut back the regulations. They don't care about toxins. It's all about making another billion. From "Give a hoot don't pollute" to "We don't give a hoot, let us pollute" is more like what they want.
I am sure if Musk takes over the world, he'll probably force everyone to drive Teslas and thus solve the climate crisis anyway. Go Musk.
Is it really that hard to understand that a heat wave affects pregnant women more than men? Or that during any disruption to food or resources, it puts more pressure on women than men, who take the primary role of securing food for their families? Or that during a natural disaster, women are more likely to face sexual assault?
One is an opinion piece, while the other explains that warmer air holds more moisture, and thus more precipitation occurs. Are you under the impression that New York Times is the name of a single person that compiles an entire newspaper every day?
Weaker jet stream due to warming will result in artic air moving south more often. If you put ice in a bucket of water, and stir the water, the ice will move around. Not that hard of a concept to get.
@Rocket River @pgabriel well they were right public enemy #1 = horrible government that defunded the fire department and the water
Not everyone is a cultist who doesn't believe climate change is happening. You might not think more frequent heat waves and record heat have caused more and more droughts, which have sparked more wildfires, or may not believe the science and facts pertaining to hurricanes, flash floods, and everything else intensifying the past few years, but that certainly doesn't make you the expert know it all. Where does your expertise stem from? X posts? Clown World? Random right wingers who spew stuff for political righteousness? SMH.
It's just an ignorant tweet..... as if stoves and preventing livestock flatulence is the ace in the hole against climate change.....
